Casale Santa Francesca - Country Villa with swimming pool in Orcia Valley, Tuscany

Spacious villa with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside, private swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The property is surrounded by a large garden and is located in one of Tuscany’s most beautiful zones the Val d’Orcia – a territory located south of Siena, famous for its charming towns such as Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, San Quirico d'Orcia. This property is comprised of 3 apartments – they are not linked internally but are rented collectively to one rental group of friends or family. A beautiful communal room with a living area and kitchen allows all of the guests to come together for meals etc. Outside guests can enjoy a private swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
Access to the house is via a dirt road, roughly 2km in length.
The property, thanks to its spacious interiors and its large exteriors, guarantees a pleasure and safe stay. All the areas, including the swimming pool, are carefully sanitized and sterilized for the health and tranquility of guests.

Available to guests: garden and outside areas furnished for dining alfresco, private and fenced-in swimming pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests (14 x 7m; depth: 1,20 - 1,40 m), outdoor Jacuzzi large enough for 5 people (next to the swimming pool), communal inside space large enough to hold all of the guests together at the same time with living area, tennis table, dining area and kitchen. The rental has free Wi-Fi internet connection (Starlink), children’s cot, outdoor laundry room.
All the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

News 2026: Starting from April 2026, a new space will be fully available for guests of Casale Santa Francesca. In an annex located just a few meters from the farmhouse, a gym and a relaxation area will be set up, featuring sofas, armchairs, and a 75-inch TV, as well as a bathroom with a shower.
The gym (with a technical rubber floor) will be equipped with the following machines:
- Technogym Unica
- Technogym MyRun (treadmill)
- Technogym Bench (weights and resistance bands)

Casale Santa Francesca will provides a charging station for electric cars (11 KW). Guests will be given a card at their arrival allowing them to recharge their car batteries (this service is to be paid on site to the villa owner).

We had an amazing stay. The property was beautiful, cannot beat the views! The host was very responsive and addressed every question we had. They were also very helpful in arranging a cooking class and helping with other questions we had about the area. The welcome tour with wine and parting donuts were such a nice touch.

Perfect place to stay for a large group. With four separate apartments you have opportunities for privacy but then with the large communal eating, cooking and gathering areas. Pool was pristine with lots of loungers and deck chairs. The villa is in a very quiet spot with views over The Valley.

We have vacationed in this beautiful house several times and are always happy to return. The house is very well maintained and offers a fantastic view of the Tuscan hills. The bathrooms in some rooms have been renovated, and this has been done very well. We were very pleased with the new gas grill on the covered terrace. The owner always strives to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely return to this beautiful house.

In September 2021 we spent for the second time a dream vacation in Casale Santa Francesca. The area is wonderful and Santa Francesca is simply ideal for a vacation with several families and many children. Grandparents, children and grandchildren alike are delighted with this property, the wonderful, large pool, the Jacuzzi and the surrounbding. We regret that the rental prices have doubled, in some cases even tripled in the last year. Not only can we afford another vacation on Santa Francesca, but now there is simply a great disproportion between price and performance.

This house is perfect for a large group of people looking forward to sunbathing or chatting while enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. The owner was very accommodating and promptly solved any issues that came up during our stay. The house is off road and finding grocery stores is a challenge. Recommended for an off-grid experience. Lovely to watch deers and foxes running through the fields in front of the house. Stunning view. Not the cheapest option but for many reasons! Looking forward to coming back next year! Cadre magnifique villa splendide dans la campagne au calme ! Un lieu de rêve pour passer des moments en famille ! On était 15 la villa est grande et chacun a son espace ! La vue juste splendide on vit au milieu des biches! Vraiment des vacances de rêves ! Franco notre hôte qui s'occupe de nous a l'arrivée est serviable toujours à l'écoute ! Il est vraiment très accueillant et toujours la pour vous ! Le seul petit bémol et c'est le seul qu'il y a c'est les 350€ de ménage obligatoire malgré une villa rendue parfaitement propre je trouve ça dommage ! On a perdu plusieurs heures à nettoyer !

E' andato tutto benissimo. Il Sig. Franco molto gentile e disponibile. Struttura pulita e in ordine. Qualche difficoltà nel bagno senza doccia, difficile lavarsi senza bagnare ovunque, e un po' di freddino dato il periodo. In casa non manca nulla, la cucina nella zona in comune è ben attrezzata, elettrodomestici nuovi e pentole e stoviglie a disposizione. Le camere semplici ma complete. La strada sterrata per arrivare al casale non è facilissima, ma tutto sommato, con molta cautela, anche con una vettura bassa si può fare.

Villa pazzesca esattamente come da foto. Tantissimo spazio sia fuori che dentro l'abitazione. Uniche due note: 1. nei bagni non sono forniti sapone o altro quindi vanno comprati o portati (meglio saperlo prima perchè se si arriva la sera non si ha modo di comprarli) 2. Abbiamo avuto dei problemi di elettricità che è mancata per una mattina e essendo in smart working questo ci ha messo un pò in difficoltà - detto ciò era un problema dovuto ad una manutenzione sporadica quindi è stato un caso che sia capitato a noi

Ein rustikales Anwesen in grandioser Lage über dem Val d'Orcia

Das Haus ist ideal für eine größere Familien oder Freundesgruppe, die gemeinsam kochen und essen , aber auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten haben wollen. Die einzelnen Appartments sind einfach, aber mit allem Notwendigen möbliert, die Betten gut, aber mit einigen recht harten Matratzen, die einzelnen Küchen allerdings nicht ausgerüstet. Durch die ländliche Lage gibt es bei Einzug reichlich Insekten (Käfer etc.) im Haus, die sich aber bald 'zurückziehen', aber nur wenige Mücken. Einige Betten haben Gestelle für Moskitonetze. Das gemeinsame Kochen findet in der Küche im EG statt, die mit einem grossartigen Herd und allen notwendigen Geräten, Geschirr und Besteck für eine große Gruppe ausgestattet ist. Der Aufenthaltsraum mit großem Tisch und zwei Sofas ist schlicht möbliert, manche der Schränke werden auch als Lagerraum genutzt. Der Pool wird durch einen Tauchroboter sauber gehalten, der Whirlpool ist herrlich, es gibt genügend Liegen und Schirme für alle. Die Lage am Hang des Monte Amiata ist grandios, der Blick geht bis Pienza und Montepulciano und in die Sieneser Berge. Abends und morgens kommen Hirsche auf die Wiese vor dem Haus und nachts manchmal ein paar Frischlinge. Die Anfahrt von Campiglia (2 km) ist z. T. steil und holprig, aber mit einem robusten Auto gut zu machen. Franco, der Besitzer, kommt regelmäßig vorbei, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen und hilft schnell mit Rat und Tat. Insgesamt also ein Platz, an dem eine große Gruppe gemeinsam und allein Ruhe finden und sich gut entspannen kann. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Ein Haus in einzigartiger Lage für die, die einen ruhigen Platz zum Genießen suchen. Die Bilder zeigen ein ziemlich genaues Bild der Ausstattung und Aufteilung des Hauses. Die Anfahrt über 2 km von Campiglia ist holprig und manchmal steil, aber für robuste Autos kein Problem.

Posto stupendo immerso nelle colline toscane. Il Sig. Franco il proprietario una persona gentilissima e disponibile per risolvere qualsiasi problema o necessità. Abbiamo passato una bellissima settimana eravamo 4 famiglie. Unica cosa che mi sento di dire che forse è meglio mettere nelle caratteristiche che la strada per arrivare alla casa è molto dissestata ed un auto bassa non può percorrerla, per fortuna noi avevamo tutti dei suv.
