This is a good story.............Read it before you book this condo!
If I told you the number of hours I have spent working to correct the errors caused by this owner, you would never, ever, believe me.
I am still working on it to this day.
She entered my bookings incorrectly, so Vrbo thought I did not pay.
Even though my reservation was green, and I had received the keys, and I was in the unit.
The owner contacted Vrbo, who sent me an email telling me that security was on their way.
Exhausted I was asleep in my room. Of course I did not know about an email sent just minutes before.
Suddenly there is someone knocking on my door. I get out of bed. It is a security guard and the property manager there to collect money from me or to evict me.
(The property manager would always say either that the internet was out in the whole building, or out in the whole city...
So I knew she was not telling the truth when she later had a technician in my room for a long time working on only my modem.)
So used the hotspot on my cell phone to show the emails which proved I had paid. The property manager was in constant contact with the owner during this time by text. But the owner would not admit she was wrong. I believe the owner thought since Vrbo had generated a bill to me, and was now saying that I needed to pay or be evicted, she could stay quiet. And get more money from me.
I have escalated this case to the trust and security department.
It is my firm hope they will remove this owners listing privileges.
The property manager was in my room for two hours before I insisted she leave.
If the owner ever went back to review our email record to refresh her memory, she never admitted it.
I paid for 27 nights in a row. Later I removed some days out of the middle. When rescheduling, the owner did not correctly enter the booking to show I had already paid.
I already described the room invasion, but over several days there were many hours I had to spend texting the property manager, and being on the phone with Vrbo.
And the manager was again in my room for a long time before I checked out because I wanted to make sure this was straightened out before I left.
Beyond fighting to not be evicted form my room, this ongoing major problem was on my mind, and making me understandably angry, while I was trying to enjoy my vacation.
This was my expensive, once in a lifetime, dream trip to the Philippines.
I had looked forward to it for such a long time.
Also, Thick soap scum in the shower, and the AC unit screen is black
