Convenient place to visit Tuscany

It is a comfortable ancient house located in a Medieval hamlet just below in Medici Villa. There are two bedrooms: in one bedroom there is a double bed, (170 × 190) in another bedroom, there is a double bed and another bedroom, there are two single beds very large and comfortable, a kitchen - dining room, a sitting room with a table and a bathroom with a shower, a wash basin and a bidet. Doctors that was once destined for a hunting house of the Medici family., It is very nice for two families as they can have their own privacy because the bedroom with a double bed and the bedroom with the double bed and the sofa bed at the first floor.
It is an apartment very cool in summer and very quiet at night. m. till 7.00 a. m during the summer. It is just in the town center where you can go walking / jogging and admire the wonderful vineyards and secular olive trees on the radiant hilly landscape typical of Tuscany. It is a STRATEGIC POINT from which you can reach the most important cities and places in Tuscany. At the station, at about 8 km, you can take the train to Florence, Pisa and Siena. The car is very nice, but the buses are not very frequent (about every hour of the day) or THE CAR IS ADVISABLE as it is more convenient. You can also leave your car in Florence and take the train to Pisa and Siena as the trains are very often There are 2 big parking lots close to the house where you can park your car safely. There is also the possibility to rent a car in the town of Empoli

We live in just five kilometers from where the house is located. We like to welcome them !!

Cerreto Guidi is a famous wine-making center among the hills of Tuscany. Cerreto Guidi was the summer of the Guidi counts who built their castle in this territory, near the Via Francigena. In the 12th century the village was sold to Florence by the Guidi family, but their name remains.
Cerreto Guidi, in this way became a place for hunting and relaxing for the Medici court.
A special feature of the inhabitants of Cerreto is their hospitality, which makes a stay in this town particularly enjoyable. On hills of vineyards and olive groves, they make even more DOCG wines-so much so that Cerreto Guidi is enrolled in the Cities of Wine association.

- By car: from highway A1 exit at Firenze Scandicci, then take the FI-PI-LI, exit at Empoli and follow the signs for Cerreto Guidi.
- By train: from the Florence train station SMN, line for Empoli. From Empoli, bus for Cerreto Guidi
- By plane: Galileo Galilei airport in Pisa. Pisa airport train station or from railway station Pisa central take the train for Empoli. From Empoli take the bus to Cerreto Guidi


Florence is 40 minutes from Pisa and Siena. There is a bus to the railway station in Empoli where the trains to / from Florence, Pisa and Siena are very often and where you can easily reach the airport of Florence and Pisa. THE CAR IS ADVISABLE or you are looking for Tuscany and its beautiful places.
The house is at 4 km From Vinci, very famous village where Leonardo da Vinci was born and the gorgeous museum dedicated to him.
