Spacious with excellent outside space
The apartment is one of two in what we think is a converted coach house. The apartment is part of a working vineyard, and is managed as part of the estate.
The ceilings are high and the rooms generous. The apartment was completely clean and tidy for our arrival.
On Vrbo we thought the apartment would be a lovely quiet home in a village, but the village and the vineyard gives a slightly busier feel. With lots of places in the vicinity, the apartment is ideal for an active holiday - and there is lots to see in this agriculturally and culturally rich area.
Our booking was processed by a property management company outside Italy, and this caused problems when we arrived. We had told the company that we would be arriving later than the narrow time allocated for arrivals, and it turned out that the vineyard management had not been told. It all worked out OK, but it could have been different if our flight had arrived just a little later.
