Quale camera?

Quando sono arrivato, il manager mi ha guardato con mistero. Mi sono presentato e gli ho detto che ho una camera prenotata. Non sapeva nulla della mia prenotazione, anche quando gli ho mostrato l'email di Hotels.com. La sua storia era che nessuno gli ha inoltrato l'email. Dopo una ricerca veloce, l'ha trovata. Ma ovviamente, l'albergo è stato già completo. Mi ha offerto a chiamare un amico con un albergo un chilometro più distante dalla spiaggia. Si è scusato profondamente. Senza una camera per me stesso, ho chiamato un amico con una camera a un altro albergo. Hanno aggiunto un letto alla sua camera e sono partito da Hotel Zen. To paraphrase an episode of Seinfeld, "this hotel can take reservations, they just can't keep them".

La struttura di per sé è carina. La pecca sta nella pulizia. Dai bagni, in particolare la doccia dove le paratie erano in alcuni punti nere da muffa. Le tende sporche nonché staccate in alcuni punti. Polvere ovunque. Le vasche idromassaggio esterne non curate per nulla, fogliame ovunque, verde muschio sul fondo. Pare quasi sia stato abbandonato. Peccato.

Hotel ok, sito in una zona un po' decentrata. Gentilezza e cordialità, colazione fino alle ore 11.30. Unico problemino l'assenza del bidet all'interno della camera (presente solo doccetta).

Käfighaltung und Rückenschmerzen

Leider entspricht das Hotel nicht dem was es verspricht. Sehr kleine Zimmer und ein sehr kleines Bad kann man vielleicht noch verkraften. Aber 8 Tage auf einer schlechten Matratze zu schlafen geht leider gar nicht. Da können die sehr netten Angestellten leider auch nichts wieder gut machen. Zimmer ohne Mückennetze und Tigermücken im Zimmer rauben einem zusätzlich den Schlaf. Die Whirlpools liegen schön im Schatten und sind eine ideale Brutstätte der zahlreichen Mücken. Leider können wir das Hotel gar nicht weiter empfehlen. Vielleicht sollte das Management mehr Wert auf Qualität (Frühstück, Ausstattung, Hygiene) setzen als auf ein breites grinsen. Schade, denn Cesenatico hat einen gewissen Reiz und ist eine Reise wert.
