Great place to stay. So quiet, always clean and smells fresh, great sized rooms with comfy beds and friendly staff. Highly recommend and I won't stay elsewhere when working in the Hunter.

Great staff but let down by the old uncomfortable beds. We had 3 rooms between us and each was the same and all had a bad night's sleep due to the beds. Outdated rooms, huge kettle, remote for air-conditioning/ heater faulty in 3 rooms. The wifi did not work either, could not connect or find the ips address given. Location was great as was the lady at check in.

Very happy with our overnight stay. Caught up with family. We had dinner about 50 metres from the Wine Country Motor Inn at the Cessnock Leagues Club. It was ideal as we didn’t need to drive anywhere. The Inn was quiet, clean and the lady on duty when we booked in was very helpful and welcoming.

The room was a good size, but there were a couple of drawbacks: the breakfast buffet was underwhelming, and the doorstop in the bathroom was a tripping hazard. The breakfast selection was very basic and overpriced at $17.50.
