Maison Rose, Apartment 1 is a modern very well appointed, luxury apartment. It has 3 bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin, 1 twin has en suite) 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The main living area has wooden flooring with under floor heating and a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, oven, hob, microwave/combi oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The sitting room area has 1 large sofa and comfortable chairs with satellite TV and a beatbox. It has French doors leading to a terrace with views of Argentiere Glacier (ideal for BBQ). The dining table divides the kitchen and living areas and there is also a breakfast/bar area. One of the bedrooms has doors leading to another terraced area and forms part of a tranquil, mature garden to the rear of the apartment. There is a cellar suitable for storing ski's and bikes or other outdoor equipment. Maison Rose is in the heart of the traditional mountain village of Argentiere


Skiing in Argentiere, Chamonix, Mont Blanc: Although Argentiere boasts the most challenging area in the Alps the surrounding area is also good for beginners and intermediates alike and the ESF French ski school is one of the best in Europe.
The village is very child friendly and children are welcome at restaurants and there is a great crĂšche facility close to the ski slopes called the Panda Club.

Summer in Argentiere: The summer can be relaxing or energetic. There are great mountain walks or hikes with breathtaking views. Paragliding off the top of Brevent with an experienced instructor, white water rafting, canoeing, mountain biking, glacier walking, ice climbing, rock climbing with an indoor climbing wall at Les Houches are all possible. The Plan Praz 18 hole golf course is a 7 minute drive away and there is riding, tennis, swimming, cycling and nearby. One can take the Aigulle de Midi cable car for fantastic views if Mont Blanc and Mer du Glace.


Getting to Argentiere: There are many airport transfer services running between Argentiere/Chamonix and Geneva Airport at very competitive rates. Most of the major car hire companies operate at Geneva airport. Easiest to hire from the Swiss rather than the French side. We can also arrange a shuttle bus for you on request.

Nice stay in ArgentiĂšre

The apartment is as described, very comfortable and cozy. We are a familiy of 5 and felt at home. It is located in ArgentiĂšre where there are afew shops and restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. To go skiing you can either walk to the skylift of Les Grands Montets (10 mins walk) or take the bus to the other ski lifts, since the bus stop is 50 meter away. Communication with Christopher (the owner) and Wendy who is taking care of the apartment localy was easy and efficient. We would love to go again.

Appartement trÚs agréable et trÚs bien situé

L’appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© Ă  ArgentiĂšre, juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de l’arrĂȘt des navettes desservant les stations de ski et Ă  proximitĂ© du tĂ©lĂ©phĂ©rique. Il est trĂšs joliment dĂ©corĂ© et bien Ă©quipĂ©, tout est en parfait Ă©tat. Pour les familles Ă  noter que les machines Ă  laver / sĂ©cher sont au sous sol et trĂšs utilisĂ©es mais Ă  part ce dĂ©tail tout Ă©tait trĂšs bien.

Tres bel appartement, trÚs bien situé

3 belles chambres. Jolie deco. En rez de chaussĂ© mais quand mĂȘme une jolie vue. En centre de village. On avait louĂ© une consigne (50€ la semaine) en bas des pistes pour Ă©viter de porter les skis le matin avec les enfants...donc aucun souci liĂ© Ă  la distance du pied des pistes. Appartement bien Ă©quipĂ©.

Comfy apartement near Chamonix

The apartment is on a nice location in Argentiere close to Chamonix. It is exactly as described, but more important, it feels like a place in which the owners live as well with great pleasure when they visit it. Good beds, well equipped kitchen. We liked the terrace as well for a drink in the evening.

Wonderful apartment in the mountains

The aparment is beautiful, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The location is perfect, in the heart of the lovely village, Argentiere, with easy parking directly opposite and close to restaurants, cafes, bakery etc. Summer hiking was spectacular!

February Ski Holiday

This is an excellent property, which is conveniently located within the heart of Argentiere. Only a short walk to the bakers, super market, restaurants, bars and ski station. Myself (and three old school friends) have stayed in Argentiere on many occasions over the past 15 years and this is by far the best property we have stayed in!! Highly recommended. Apartment had everything you could need, Chris provided excellent advise in the lead up on best places to hire skis, take lessons, buy tickets. Guest book filled with useful information. Kitchen well equipped. Perfect for a winter family ski holiday. Town itself is quaint and easy to get to a range of ski resorts, however ArgentiĂšre was our favourite. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a holiday in Mont Blanc.

Perfect for our entire family

We had a fantastic time! The condo was perfect, so spacious and beautiful. We walked from the condo to ski at Argentiere which ended up being our favorite mountain in the Chamonix area because it's the most difficult and we are a pretty hard-core ski family. We also walked each morning around the corner from the condo, to the bakery for fresh baked goods. The village has some great restaurants and we also drove each night about 7 minutes by car to Chamonix and did serious ice skating, Luge, shopping and dining. Last, the condo is only 20 minutes to Coumayer ski resort in Italy which was amazing!! Thank you for letting us stay there!!
