Apartment Overview
The Melee Apartments are two separate apartments sleeping six/eight and eight which can be booked separately or together. Located in the popular alpine village of ArgentiĂšre, the famous Grands Montets ski area is just a 5 minute walk. The apartments both benefit from a wonderfully social and bright open plan living spaces which have a wood burning stove and plenty of comfy seating. Both have access to a decked terrace with a hot tub shared between the two apartments.

Apartment Demi Melee Details-
The apartment is on the first floor of a small residence. It has a bright open plan living/kitchen/dining area with comfy sofas, TV, a wood burning stove and a spacious dining table. The living space opens up onto a large decked terrace with fantastic views and which boasts a gas BBQ and hot tub . (The hot tub is shared with the apartment above). The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, coffee machine and dishwasher. All four bedrooms are spacious and sleep two in twin beds. Bedroom 1 has an ensuite with shower, basin and WC, bedrooms 2 and 3 share an ensuite with shower, basin and WC and bedroom 4 has an ensuite with a bath, shower, basin and WC. Additionally there is a separate WC.

Apartment Deuxieme Melee Details-
The apartment is set over two floors. On the main floor there is an open plan living/dining area with comfy sofas and armchairs and access to a balcony with excellent mountain views. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, coffee machine and dishwasher. There are three twin bedrooms on this floor, each with an ensuite, two have showers and the third has both a bath and shower. Additionally there is a separate WC. On the second floor there is a loft TV room with SKY TV, games consoles and double sofa bedsofas. Externally there is access to a decked terrace with a hot tub (shared with Apartment Demi Melee).

Both apartments benefit from a lockable boot room and ski locker and off street parking.


Apartment Location
The apartment is located in the centre of the village of Argentiùre. It is just a 5 minute walk from the gondola giving access to the Grand Montets ski area which is famously the home of some of the Chamonix Valley’s more challenging pistes. In winter there is a cross country ski track nearby and in summer Argentiùre is the start point for many amazing hiking trails. The apartment is situated directly above arguably the best bakery in the Valley, so fresh croissants each morning couldn’t be more convenient. The village of Argentiùre has a great range of bars, restaurants and shops providing plenty of options for apres ski, lunch and dinner. Additionally there is a bus stop and train station within 5 minutes walk of the apartment which gives you easy access to the other villages and ski areas of the Chamonix Valley.

The apartment is located above a bakery and although this is mostly seen as connivence as the bakery is of the best in the valley, it's worth mentioning and those who are are light sleepers have heard disturbance during their stay.


What’s Included
Self-catered bookings include linen/towels for 8, 6 or 14 guests, end of stay cleaning and local taxe de sĂ©jour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte d’Hotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out may be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Apartment Deuxieme de Melée is a modern three bedroom, three bathroom apartment sleeping up to 8 guests with the use of the loft sofa bed. Located in the popular alpine village of ArgentiÚre, the famous Grands Montets ski area is just a 5 minute walk. A hot tub (shared with the apartment below) can also be enjoyed.

Alpes Travel also manages Apartment Demi de Melée, directly below. Together they sleep a total of 14. If you are a large group, please get in contact to find out if both apartments are available.

What’s Included:

Self-catered bookings include linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment features a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply. The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de sĂ©jour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’HĂŽtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.

Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges. If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any Alpes Travel apartments.

Payment terms and Cancellation:

To confirm the booking, you must pay 10% of the total cost. Along with the accommodation fee, you will be charged a local tourist tax of 4.6 euros per adult per night. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the provided card 30 days before your arrival. You will receive an email notification prior to the balance being charged.

If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. However, within 30 days of arrival, the booking becomes non-refundable.
