There was dried up toothpaste on the tap in the bathroom. The entire lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel was not very clean. It was hard to figure out how to check in and harder to figure out where to park.

Right when we walked in to check in it smelt like smoke in the lobby, inappropriate television was on with the valet watching. Had to redirect our children. The online pictures did not represent the actual rooms. We checked in and walked in the room and walked right back out. The entry floors in the room was sticky, the couch had a tear and the room smelt musty. Requested a refund and was told since you booked a non cancelable reservation there was nothing they could do. After a lot of back and forth the manager did refund 1 or the 2 nights. Would not recommend.

Being Sensitive to Hospital Patients
We were there because I had an early morning doctor visit at MUSC. I feel like that due to the proximity to the hospitals, some concessions should be made. I had to be at the lab for blood work at 6:45 am with an appointment to see the doctor at 8. We arrived back at the hotel at 9:05 and the breakfast had already been removed. They offered me coffee which was cold.

The property was old and rundown. There’s also a $15 fee to stay at the property. This includes valet parking, which is extremely unnecessary considering the amount of parking space that is actually available.
