We had a little accident. I requested new sheets, and I remade the bed. @ midnight, we had already been sleeping, and the front desk called, and woke us up, to tell us they were going to charge us $200 for a new comforter. Apparently, when I asked for sheets, they didn’t give us a new comforter, so they apparently didn’t think it was a problem, yet an hour later, they are calling me, to tell me I am going to have to pay for it. I contacted Travelocity, and now they were telling them, it was because I damaged the sheets. I know, that all kinds of bodily fluids end up in hotel sheets. Nothing that can’t be fixed by hot water & bleach. I stayed up until 2 AM, laundering the sheets, and mattress pad in the bathtub. The next morning, I spread them out on the floor of the lobby, with the comforter, which had stains on it from some one else. in front of the desk clerk, and housekeeping staff, and took pictures. All agreed there was nothing wrong with any of it. Accidents happen, and I’m certain the manager knew this would all wash out. He just saw an opportunity to screw a guest. I should not have been awakened over this, and should not have had to be laundering my bedclothes in the middle of the night.

It was convenient if you like something right off the highway. I mean, RIGHT OFF THE HIGHWAY. They must have been spared the domain wrecking ball by about ten feet. It is also in the flight path from the airport and right behind a restaurant that had deliveries at all hours and dumpster emptying at 5:30 AM.

Check in was the only good thing. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Room smells like hell. Desktops still had food dried on the surfaces from a previous client. Two of the lamps didn't work.

convenient to the interstate, however, the staff was was all about self and did not care if they waited on you or not. it was just a job to them and should be fired---need people to work desk that actually likes being around people!!!
