This Suite is a peaceful and private apartment for two. Sleep comfortably in a queen size bed and relax in the cozy living area. The kitchenette includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, induction cooktop, dinnerware, and basic cooking tools. Please note that there is no dishwasher or traditional oven.



Guest Access:

This is a private apartment with it's own separate entrance. Guests have access to the shared courtyard, patio, and heated swimming pool.



The Neighborhood:

The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just one short block from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!



Getting Around:

Charleston is a walking city! Uber is widely available. If guests do have a car, we provide ONE (1) off-street parking space. We suggest bringing an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.

Host was very nice, we had an issue the first day with the upstairs unit having the water running all day/night and when I contacted host at first they said it was normal (which is strange). Then I mentioned it again the next day and they had someone come out to find out there was a plumbing issue upstairs. I do wish I would have been listened to the first time, since it was super annoying. But glad they fixed it the next day. The place is very nice, many amenities and close to shopping and dining. There was a cold snap when we were there and the pool is a bit far of a walk for us to want to freeze coming back from, so that was a bummer, but it felt warm to the touch and wish the weather would have cooperated. The courtyard is very cute, with fountains and a koi pond. It was kind of loud in the vicinity as there may be a school next door, lots of outdoor basketball being played and they are noisy. Just something to keep in mind, it is a city though.

Really nice location. TV service was poor. Very difficult to actually get to the property because it sat so far back off the street. Much easier to get to off Cannon than off of St Phillip entrance which was cobblestone and dangerous to walk on. Parked car also prevented access to property from St Phillip side which required a tight alley walk through. Better explanation of accessing through Cannon street probably would be best. Overall enjoyed the place. Pool was semi private.

Great Service, Excellent Location!

Overall, this was a great experience and a great place to stay. It is located in a very ideal spot if you are not from around the area! You are very close to King Street shopping and many great restaurants. The place is very clean and maintained. The courtyard and pool is fantastic to relax in. The services provided by the hosts are amazing as well. Very responsive to any texts or emails in a timely manner and always ready to help. We will be back very soon!

Great space that was quintessential Charleston! Lovely lap pool that was relaxing and zen. We didn't anticipate quite so many stairs in this particular unit (I'm a fit almost 60, hubs is a fit 72!). All in all we give it a 5 star review, they even had a bottle of wine for us upon arrival! We would totally stay here again.

Wedding weekend getaway

The perfect setup for a wedding weekend! My boyfriend was able to work remote in the space provided while I was involved in bridesmaid duties. The outdoor deck area was enjoyed with the complimentary bottle of wine provided. We also picked up Holey City Bagels, recommended by the host, and enjoyed them in the courtyard area. A very quiet, secluded spot with tons of charm—loved the French doors in our suite. Only point of improvement I’d say would be that it was a bit dusty in the suite. Will definitely stay again!

Cozy Charleston Hideaway

This is a beautiful, modern suite, with a very comfortable bed. As a 70-ish couple, we are in nimble enough condition to navigate the way from the car-park to our accomodation, through the passages and steps and staircase; it reminded me of our guided tour through some of Charleston's narrow alleys & streets! (Those desiring a level walk from their car should think twice). Our only concern was the inability to adjust the thermostat (it requires a passcode that should be offered to guests). Also, I like the convenience of this spot to the major routes in and out of town; only having to navigate a few blocks of the old city streets.
