The house was great. I did try to text the owners at least 2 times to see if it was assessible for a wheel chair. I didnt get a response. I am in a wheelchair. I brought my ramp from home( thank goodness). It made getting into and out of the house easier. I wasn't able to get into a bedroom though and needed to stay in my chair the entire visit. It was a lovely house for able bodied individuals

It was a bit confusing trying to add on an extra day with Evolve, I originally got responses from more then person but then didn’t hear back from one for a couple days, would have preferred more personal contact but it wasn’t a big deal in the end. Family oriented peaceful neighborhood! Loved walking to the beach. House had everything we needed. Upstairs carpet could use replacing but everything was clean and ready for us! Great stay in Charlevoix.

It was a very nice house overall, but we really struggled with the lack of air conditioning. Even with all the provided fans we ended up going to the store to buy a portable AC unit. Even that left the upstairs bedroom unusable in the late July heat. I feel like the lack of AC should have been more clear in the listing. Michigan summers are SO hot and humid and that makes a big difference in being able to sleep comfortably and enjoy our downtime.

The house is very clean and well maintained. My only suggestion if you want to watch TV you need to have a Roku account. We would stay there again if we get a chance to visit the area.

The property was clean, but we felt that it was cleaned possibly a week before our arrival and could have used a refresh. We would have liked to use the grill but it was not clean for immediate use and we had to make other plans for dinner. The only other downside to the stay was the mattress(s) in the 4th bedroom with the bunk beds. Both were very thin and uncomfortable. The guest ended up sleeping on the couch.

Great home situated between Boyne , the Highlands and Nubs Nob with easy access to the lovely town of Charlevoix. Beautiful home in a great neighborhood - loved my morning walks down to the lake! Clean and well-outfitted. We will be back!

Not what the ad describes

The house is across the street from a dump of a house. The fire pit is one of those small metal pits from Walmart. No AC, which wasn’t too bad because it was a little chilly and we didn’t use the house much. The bunk beds make so much noise you can’t sleep at all. They are the cheap metal ones you can get for $100. The kitchen table was big and we were able to fit everyone which was nice. All in all, I would not recommend this house. I also wouldn’t rent from Evolve, ever. Basically the ad is technically true but highly embellished.

Wonderful place to stay.

Location is easy and close to Charlevoix. House was very clean and comfortable. Living room has the great sectional for lounging. Dining table was large enough for Card playing and jigsaw puzzle. Really enjoyed the house. Since we were there in fall we did not need A/C but if it were warm the house had ceiling fans and portable fans in every room which would help. Able to put one car in garage at night too. Definitely would rent again.

Beautiful Lake Charlevoix Cottage

My extended family made this cottage our home for one week in August. It was perfect for us (seniors and children). The interior is very clean and updated with a nice open space for dining and lounging. The kitchen has great supplies for making meals at home. It is a short walk to Lake Charlevoix in a very quiet neighborhood, and we were excited to find the public beach which is dog friendly. Hosts were very kind and super responsive. Highly recommend this property for a quiet neighborhood on Lake Charlevoix.
