• Early Check-In / Late Check-Out- Want to extend your stay a bit? Early check-in (12 PM) and late check-out (2 PM) are available for a $150 per request—subject to availability.
• No Events or Weddings- We love a good celebration, but for the comfort of all guests and neighbors, events and weddings are not permitted.
• Dog-Friendly with Fee- Bringing your pup? We welcome up to two dogs with a $150 fee per dog. Just let us know in advance!

Perfect place for extended family

This property is wonderful! We had 12 of us and kept saying how great a house it was! The lake view is gorgeous! The young ones really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards.

Excellent - Would Stay Again

House was very clean and adequately stocked. Enjoyed using pool and air hockey tables. Back yard was particularly nice enjoying shade and a breeze most of the time. Fishing was tough, but a 5lb catfish was landed. Took advantage of the great watercraft too!

Everything we wanted/needed

We rent a lake house every year for our growing family; and this one met every one of our expectations. Clean, well-supplied, extra welcoming amenities. Regardless of ages, everyone appreciates the easy sloped walk to the lake. The view of the lake is great for our morning reading.

Great family getaway

The setting is well suited for family time inside and out. House is well appointed and the management team very helpful and responsive. Exterior needs some attention as well as some furnishings; however, the home was a hit with both children and adults. All were sorry to leave.

Family mini vacation

The property was beautiful, the house was beautiful, & very clean. There was more than enough room for 14 people to be comfortable. We all ate on the deck & everyone sat at the same table & that was fantastic. We went kayaking, made s'mores around the fire & just had a really great time.

More than we expected!!

Great location, all the amenities, upgraded kitchen, spacious, and very clean. We had a large event in Denver during our stay, so 9 people were in the house and there were absolutely no issues accommodating all. Without question, this is a place we would stay at again.

Great property! . Right on the lake.with 2 kayaks and fishing poles. House had plenty of room for the 6 adults and two children. Walkout basement had pool table ,airhocky and shuffle board. Well furnished kitchen made cooking meals easy. Would definitely stay again .

Celebrating 30 years of Friendship!

Carolina Sunrise House is the perfect place for celebrating friendship. All of us enjoyed the beautiful misty sunrises and bonfires. House has enough clean rooms and close enough to the CLT airport. We came this time for Fall, we hope to come back maybe for summer. Thanks Carolina Sunrise, you made our gathering memorable!

Lake Norman wedding stay

The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood directly located on the lake in the Westport area. It was well organized, well-appointed, and family-friendly. Wish we had had more time to stay and enjoy the weather outside. Watch out for squirrels throwing acorns from above while you enjoy sitting/eating on the backyard deck overlooking the lake!! (Haha)

Over all we loved this property. Listing was very accurate. However the master bedroom on the top floor had stink bugs in there. The family staying in the room killed about 10 of them. They were on the bed and floor.

Beautiful lake views

We had a great time on lake Norman. We had never been to the lake before and it is absolutely gorgeous. The house was clean and in a great location. We have 3 boys 9,11 and 14. They loved fishing off the dock and floating in the kayaks. Which was all provided for us. In the evenings we played pool, air hockey and board games. The house definitely accommodated our family of 5 but surely could accommodate a lot more. Conveniently located close to many restaurants. We also rented a boat for the time we were there. I would highly recommend doing that as well. We will definitely be coming back!

Lake Norman gem

This is a great house for a stay at Lake Norman. It's directly on the lake in Denver and has a lot of amenities including kayaks, paddle boards, fishing rods and a full game room for entertainment. A fire pit and hammocks by the lake added to the relaxation. All the rooms were fully equipped with linens and extra towels and amenities. Great contemporary style, fully stocked Kitchen with everything you need for all your family meals! Supermarket only a few mins drive away. Great layout of bedrooms, super clean, and the deck with huge table overlooking the lake was a huge plus. We fully enjoyed this house and recommend it.
