never again

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Needs to be torn down!
Location: Nothing
This hotel room was FILTHY. I arrived very late after a long drive and had no other choice but to stay as I also had my dog with me and I had made the reservation on line and had pre-paid. The walls had stains on it, the telephone receiver had obvious filth on it, the bottom sheet had holes in it, their was no hot water in the shower, the sink drain was clogged which prevented water from draining properly, I was told to walk my dog in the lot next door which is separated by a chain link fence which had tractor trailers in it and with one obvious "Lady of the Night" walking away from the hotel. I stayed in the room less than 6 hours and was very glad to leave. Absolutely filthy.

Good Place To Stay

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Stayed at this hotel for three days and everything was great. The rooms are clean and have a microwave and refrigerator. The air conditioner/heating unit works well and is quiet. Most important is staff member is excellent, and does everything possible to make the stay comfortable. we would stay again

The hotel was dirty and the daylight desk attendent was very rude and not helpful.

The hotel advertise pet friendly what is false. Eventhough we let them know we had our boxer with us after half way through our stay they called me to the office and charged me an extra $25.00 per night for the dog. The most ever. We visit Matthews 2-3 times a year and will never use that hotel and will suggest to all of my family not to. The hotel staff was too rude and on that particular trip we paid the same amount for much better and cleaner hotels.

The hotel was the worst I ever stayed in.

Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast, rude staff, dirty
The hotel was dirty and the staff was very rude and discourteous. According to directions we had to enter from the rear but there was a gate blocking the rear. On this particular trip we stayed in 8 different hotels, which cost close to the same, and this hotel was by far the worst. We visit Matthews 2-3 times a year and my family visits in between our time because my son lives in Indian Trail, which is convenient, but we will never use that hotel again.

Run run run far away!

Bad area and unsafe-behind a night club and DIRTY. Do not try to save money by staying here. We left at 3am to find a new hotel and had to then pay for two hotels for 3 days.

Staff welcomed me and had no problem with late check-in and delayed check-out

Pros: Quiet
The staff here is great. They always try to accommodate my requests. The only issue I had this time was that the bedspread had some burn holes in it, and I thought it would have been noticed by the staff and replaced. Otherwise, the room was clean, plenty of towels, and a couch to boot!

The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
Beds were very comfortable. Staff helped solve initial evening's concerns. I'm planning on staying there again this month.
