Fully restored and updated 1935 historic home in Commonwealth Park. Home is just a few minutes from uptown and walking distance to the heart of Plaza Midwood. Home has large, private, fenced in back yard and 2nd floor entertainment room with wet bar, wine cooler and 2nd living room. This house has 5 bedrooms. Downstairs is the master bedroom with a king size bed and a second room with bunk beds. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with two queen beds and a full size bed. Upstairs there is also a pullout couch and downstairs there’s a pullout couch. If you have any questions reach out!

Host was rarely available on on phone or text. Gave up trying to communicate. House was fine, no problems.Booked an extra day but didn't use. None of the furniture was very comfortable, but lots of plastic plants.

Lovely home

We had a wonderful time. The home is so neat. We love that it had more than one living room so the teenagers had their own space. It is so cozy and welcoming. The host is quick to respond and very helpful. We would stay here again.

Lovely House.

We booked this house for an early Thanksgiving with our entire family (which includes 4 families). My parents and their dogs, my brother and his wife and child, my sister and her husband and 2 children, me and my husband and our dog. We were very impressed with how many blankets, pillows, and towels were provided; which is a big deal for those of us traveling fao far and can’t pack as much. We utilized the fire pit and had enough chairs for everyone to enjoy the fire and we had plenty of fire wood to use. We were super happy with having 2 living rooms because it helped us get away from the kids. All in all it was a lovely space and all we really had to worry about was getting along with each other haha

Nice layout, but not as expected

This was a short trip. Prior to trip, the host replied to all messages promptly. Once we arrived and messages were sent, I received no responses. The place had a good number of rooms and bathrooms for our party of 9. However, the house needs to be updated. The furniture and rugs were not clean in the sitting areas. There was an old smell to the house and we had to kill a roach. The bottom of the refrigerator freezer was not clean. The upstairs bathroom tub mat was covering an area that needs to be repaired. The tub on the first floor had a curve, making it hard to take a shower comfortably. The shower upstairs in the bedroom was too small. This could definitely be a nice spot but much upgrade is needed.

Nice House

Mike's place is really nice. Easy go get downtown, plenty of sleeping space, and a nice outdoor patio. I would definitely stay there again. Mike was very helpful with providing ideas for restaurants and was very responsive. Great stay!

Everything was exactly as Mike said it would be!

First off, Mike was great and very helpful throughout this whole stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying her as it was not only VERY close to pretty much everywhere we wanted to go but it also offered all the amenities we could ask for. From hot coffee, to clean beds, a big back patio, etc. Overall, I would definitely give this a 5 star review and highly recommend it to anyone who may be considering! Thanks Mike!

great spot for a big group

Great size and good location for our crew of 11 guys. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and couches. About a mile walk to bars and restaraunts. Recommend this place for big groups. Everyone liked it. Central air was much enjoyed!

We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings listening to all the sounds of the night. The house was very convenient for us since we were attending a training at the Spectrum Center. Great location

We stayed here during our long weekend in Charlotte for the NCAA tournament. We were 8 guys that do our annual trip away. Best part of the house has to be the location. It was 10 or 15 minutes from anything we wanted to do in the main part of city. The 4 bathrooms were a huge plus. Would stay here again. Owner is very responsive and checked in on us (via message) to make sure we had arrived with no issues.
