Rockpool Cottage Pet Friendly with Enclosed Garden In a Quiet Peaceful Village

Cottage in Beadnell - Easy Access to Beadnell Bay Beach and Village Pubs
As of January 2018 this property was under new ownership. We have made lots of changes to make the cottage more comfortable for our guests including new heating system and new garden fencing and garden furniture.

Beadnell is situated on the Northumberland Heritage Coast line surrounded by the Castles of Alnwick (Harry Potter fame), Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. Our cottage is located near to the centre of Beadnell Village and is in an excellent position to explore the Northumberland coast. Our comfortable cottage is furnished to a high standard and is equipped with everything you need to make your holiday a pleasure. Rockpool Cottage has been recently refurbished to a high standard and has a modern well equipped kitchen along with a completely new bathroom, and all bedroom fittings, furniture newly installed.

This is a small but well appointed cottage and is ideal accommodation for 2 people.Has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay and is only a few minutes walk from the seafront and the local general store.Ideally suited to dogs with a large grass area at the rear of the cottage where they can safely run around.Enjoyed a very relaxing break in this cottage accompanied by my canine friend.

Great base for exploring

Clean well equipped property. Comfy bed, good sitting room. It was the perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast. We got to see so much and walked along some fantastic empty beaches. The only 2 negative points are that Beadnell car park is only free after 6pm (always free implied in paperwork) and the village shop is very poorly stocked.

Quiet village

Lovely one bed bungalow, in lovely village. Ideal for couple and a dog. Beadnell beach is beautiful as is the walk to Seahouses. Highlight for me was my walk up the Cheviot from the Harthope valley. We will be back to Northumberland as soon as we can

Northumberland Get Away

The bungalow was great once we got used to how small it was. For our purpose it had all we needed. Certainly it was lacking in charm but after days of walking, visiting etc we were more interested in practicality than anything else. The dogs were catered for which was important and we had only one quibble. Perhaps on its next refresh the shower could be given more oomph. That said we are recommending it to friends and are likely to return.

Bungalow was spotless. Kitchen well equipped. Bed comfy. Garden was great for our dogs. Location perfect for exploring surrounding areas. The beach at Beadnell is beautiful and great for long dog walks. Host very helpful. Will definitely return.
