Room was clean, water pressure was amazing, no bugs. Bed and couch were extra firm, not comfortable at all. Was supposed to be pay when you arrive and they charged the card I had to use on Expedia to book, wasn’t one I needed to use and they wouldn’t change it.

A Great Value For A Clean Comfortable Hotel

This reeked of too good to be true. We got two rooms for what we usually pay for one and with the other positive reviews we figured we would try it out. Overall we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small but very clean. They were short-staffed (according to the person who checked us in they were at capacity the night before and having trouble getting all of the rooms cleaned quickly enough) and our 2nd room wasn't ready when we got there. It wasn't an issue since it was ready after we had dinner. Of our entire 10-day trip this was the best shower of all!! A TON of water pressure and just so relaxing. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. They even had free breakfast (standard hotel fare but it was a full offering and free). There is a pool but it wasn't open yet (it was a bit too early for that on our trip). This is a simple, straight-forward no-frills hotel but we'd definitely stay here again.

I had never booked a Serenity Stay hotel--but based on the high reviews, I tried it. The room had a weird smell (like human urine) and when I asked for a different room, there wasn't one. The breakfast was "okay" not a great deal of variety offered. Had to ask for clean towels and wash clothes, just not the best experience I have ever had.

Remember this is a low cost hotel.

This is an older hotel that has been remodeled. The gentleman at check-in was very friendly. It made that experience easy. However, when we got to the room, we noticed makeup on the comforter of one of the beds because we were so tired, we just didn't use the comforter on that bed. It looks as though the comforters themselves aren't cleaned very often. They definitely need to do better with cleaning of bed linens. Having said that, everything else seemed clean. The shower stall had been, recently renovated and was very nice.

The stay was above expectations. I did not pick up that it was a Motel with door access outside. It was a bit noisy as the parking area is right outside the door, but the AC covered most of it. No issues otherwise, excellent stay.
