We stayed here with a total of 11 people- 7 adults and 4 children. This property had everything we needed- from the pool to the wrap around porch. The views were excellent of the town. The place had a better view than the listing photos could capture. There were enough rooms and beds for everyone. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very friendly and we had no issues during our stay. Overall 10/10.

The host communication was great. She sent out a packet before we arrived and explained everything from check-in to check out. She made sure we were able to contact her at anytime during our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were stocked. Our only negative was the beds were very hard and slightly uncomfortable but for the days we were there not a biggie. The kitchen was also stocked if you need to cook. We had a great time and the pool was shaded so a plus and the view on the house was great. Would come back with our group. Also a 5 minute drive from downtown Chelan.

This house is in a good location. It is close to town, yet very secluded and quiet. You will need a car to visit the town. the house itself worked out fine for our family. We had 6 adults and two children, ages 12 and 3. It was very warm the week we were there which was the last week of June and the AC was not enough to keep some of cool enough so the fans that are provided were a big help, as was the pool! There was plenty of space both in the house and out on the expansive wrap around porch for us to be together without feeling cramped. The host made herself very easy to contact if there was anything we needed, which we didn't. I would not hesitate to book this home again and highly recommend it if looking for a place for a large crowd.

Family vacation in the books!

Great house for 3 generation family vacation. Plastic plates and glasses would be good to have. The trees that line the driveway could use a trim so you don't hit them backing down with a boat and tower. Pool is awesome! Loved the wrap around porch! Cant wait to go back.

Best Chelan rental EVER!

Carol's home is amazing, and we keep coming back to it every summer. We love the view, the pool, and the wrap around porch...also the two fridges, the covered parking spot for our boat, and all the places for our family to gather in the house. Carol is a wonderful host, and is available anytime to answer our questions or needs. Thank you for helping to make our family vacations so memorable and special.

Can not get enough

I have lost track of how many times we have stayed at this house with our family group of 11 or more. We just love this property with it's large house, location, wrap around deck, view, pool, rooms for everyone and how easy it is to work with Carol the owner. This is the vacation and the house that all our kids and grandkids look forward to every year. We will be back!

Best Ever!

We had a great family reunion at Carol's place. It was an easy drive, walk or mountain bike ride to town. The house has fabulous views, spacious and comfortable outdoor sitting areas, and great interior space too. Carol was great to communicate with from the beginning of the rental process. We loved the pool, morning yoga in the yard, the basketball hoop, team cooking in the kitchen , enjoying meals on the deck and the fantastic location close to town, vineyards, the public beach, golf and access to mountain bike areas north of town. We would love to stay here when we return and highly recommend it for others visiting Lake Chelan.

Outstanding property for all ages, we ranged in age from 4 months old to 92 years old!

Fantastic property with a great view of the lake and town. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The grandchildren loved the running around on lawn and playing on the basketball court. The house was furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and especially liked having two ovens! The barbecue was in perfect shape and we used it several times. We had 10 adults and 5 grandkids but we had tons of room. I think the best thing was the covered porch, it allowed us to enjoy quiet mornings and family dinners together! We look forward to coming back next year!

Family get together

We had seven adults and 4 children staying at the home for a family get together. There was plenty of room for all. We loved the wrap around porch for coffee in the morning and evenings playing games as a family. The kids loved the pool. The outside grill was great for hamburgers and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is perfect for Chelan and Manson. There was some construction going on up front of the house on the main street but it only bothered us one morning. The views from the house are amazing. We would love to come back. This is a great location. Very peaceful. We watched the quail every morning and even spotted some deer one afternoon by the pool. This is a great location no matter the season. So glad we found it!

Lovely Home and Fantastic Location

We are a group of a dozen women in our 60’s and 70’s who travel together in the NW US every year. This year we spent a week in Carol’s lovely Lake Chelan hillside home. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities. The house can easily accommodate large groups and would be particularly great for families. The pool was fabulous on hot afternoons and we enjoyed the cool morning walks into town and back up the hill. Chelan has so many things to do for both adults and kids! In addition to cooking and eating together, members of our group spent a day in Stehekin (1.5-hour boat ride each way), played golf and mini golf, shopped in town, went to the farmer’s market, visited a winery, para-sailed, and enjoyed several hikes. Carol went the extra mile by communicating clearly and often. She answered all our questions and made sure everything was ready for us. We would recommend this home enthusiastically and would love to return.

This is the best place in Chelan for a family or small group. The house is perfect for families with kids. Ours had a blast playing in the pool, yard, porch - it was great. It has two ovens, a BBQ. Honestly you never have to leave…but if you do everything is super close. Walk to golf, 10 minutes to everything in downtown Chelan and the best views of the lake from all around the porch. The owner is awesome. We had an issue with the girl and they were out within 30minutes o reporting it and had it fixed in a couple hours. Stay here - you won’t regret it.

Great family time

The house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The covered wraparound deck was perfect on those hot days. We all had fun in the pool especially as it was shaded for part of the day. Everything was labeled so the house felt familiar. The books in the library were a hit with the grandkids. Sitting on the deck in the early morning, drinking coffee, and just staring at the lake was so relaxing. We were together, but everyone had space. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful home

We were a family group of 10 that included grandparents and two sets of twins, ages 5 and 9. We were there for a week, a first visit. When you read all the other previous reviews, we would totally echo their perspectives. One thing that was particularly noticeable was the cleanliness of the expansive porch. There was not a spider's web to be found. Staying here was a great experience and we would like to come back!

Amazing Vacation Get-A-Way

We absolutely love this property! This was our 7th stay here at this property and it was just as enjoyable and comfortable as our first 6 times. The house is well furnished and comfortable in every room. The wrap around porch with amazing views and comfortable seating all around is one of our favorite features. Early morning coffee and late evening wine enjoying the view uplake from the porch lead to a gathering of family every day. The very clean and well maintained pool kept all the kids and adults busy and refreshed. The easy access to the lake, town and drive-in were all appreciated. The 12 of us really enjoyed our stay here. The property is quiet and the owner is attentive and so easy to work with. Of all the places we have stayed and homes we have rented for vacations, this is by far the favorite. No one wanted to leave and everyone is already looking forward to next year.

We enjoyed the week at Carol’s hilltop home with it’s unmatched view of the lake and town. Very convenient to all the activities our family loves about Lake Chelan yet very quiet and private. Our one technical problem was handled promptly when asked. I’m sure we’ll be back.
