Secluded log home - perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! Vaulted ceilings with exposed beams wrapped in Edison lights and furnished with rustic wood. Hot tub, fire pit, wood-burning fire place, porch swing, tv and dvd player. Sleeps four, in two queen beds with two full baths. Well-equipped kitchen. Pet friendly (2 pet limit with $50+tax pet fee).
INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace, grill and firepit; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; dvd player; bed, bath and kitchen linens; bath soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper and trash bags; access to the Chalets Resort pool at the Chalets Old Man's Cave location; central air conditioning and heat.
SITE Wooded location at the end of a long gravel driveway shared by Chalets cabin called Pioneer. Four wheel drive required in winter conditions. Closest park is Conkles Hollow - 2 miles, a 5-minute drive. So these cabins are considered to be part of the Chalets Conkles Hollow location. Old Man's Cave is a 10-15 minute drive along some of the most scenic roads of the region. The Chalets Old Man's Cave location with office, pool and SaunaPods is a 20 minute drive.
SIMILAR If you like this cabin's location and layout, you will like its neighbors Pioneer (4) and Timber Ridge (4), which is just up the road. Bigger versions of this style are Oak Ridge (8), Sycamore (8) and Dogwood (12). [HCRN-00172]

It was close to activities very nice and quiet. Only complaints I had was when you open the door it smelt like old cigarettes in the cabin, the whole time and we are non-smokers and I found a dirty wet towel in the silverware drawer

Great family get away. Very remote. Close to Hocking Hills State Park. The only issue was there is no Wi-Fi, so know where you are going before hand!

Nice weekend getaway

This was our first time staying in Hocking Hills! It was beautiful place! Awesome view and great beds. I highly recommend. Clean and easy to get to the trails. My kids loved it too. Well water is the only complaint. The smell was bad.

Great place and good location close to the trails. Only issues I had were the water and the phone did not work. With no wi-fi or cell service, it was hard to reach anyone from the front desk.

Beautiful Cabin & Area

We loved the cabin & the area - beautiful, clean and very secluded. The hot tub and porch swing were two favorites! Our biggest challenge in the Hocking Hills area was lack of WiFi and internet. GPS did not work for most of the trip so would suggest researching where to eat, etc. and screenshotting directions before arriving. We used the pool one day at the main Chalets location which was very nice. (Call for directions- it’s about a 10 minute drive.) We loved all our hikes but a favorite was Old Man’s Cave - gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!
