Problems
It's a great location and a beautifully decorated home with ample towels and kitchen supplies. We appreciated the notes about letting in the midges and mosquitoes so we never opened the windows. Nevertheless, there seemed to be an infestation of mosquitoes in one of the bedrooms. Over two dozen were found nights in the room my son and his wife had to sleep in. Unfortunately, she's very susceptible to mosquitoes. We were not allowed to change the temperature in the house without raising the cost of our stay Therefore, it was very cold when we watched TV or played games. And this was in August. We did use a space heater for those times, but it was still uncomfortable. In the master bedroom, there was a consistent hum from the water heater and sprinkler system which sometimes ran all night. The worst problem was the unexpected pee that came up through the first bed my son and his wife slept in. He was covered with some kind of liquid on his back and we discovered it was coming from inside the mattress. Not a healthy thing to happen. We met the owner who was very nice and as horrified as we were about the bed problem. She came to inspect the situation and said she would be refunding some of our money, but that hasn't happened yet.
