Welcome to our cosy 3-bed, 3-bath detached home set back in a quiet residential area.
Just a 6 minute walk from the heart of Chipping Norton with its independent shops, cafes, pubs, theatre and cinema, this spacious retreat offers a peaceful 'home away from home' for 6 guests.
Enjoy easy access to The Cotswolds, Diddly Squat Farm, Soho Farmhouse, Daylesford Organic & Blenheim Palace.
As our cherished UK home, itâs fully equipped to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing Cotswolds stay!
Built in 2008, Bliss Lodge is located in a peaceful residential area close to the centre of Chipping Norton.
Enter the property with step-free access from the gate into the front door, where you'll find a convenient downstairs shower room with WC to your left, before entering the fully-equipped kitchen including electric oven & hob, dishwasher, tall fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine (please bring your own capsules), microwave & washing machine.
Continuing through the kitchen is the bright dining room, featuring bi-fold doors that lead out to the rear patio, filling the space with natural light. This area seamlessly connects across into the spacious living room, complete with fireplace, Smart TV and ample comfy seating for unwinding.
Upstairs, you'll find 3 generously proportioned double bedrooms. The master bedroom offers 2 single beds (3' x 6'3") and an ensuite shower room with WC and small desk beneath the front window.
Bedroom 2 provides a king-size bed (4'6" x 6'3") with further dedicated workspace, while bedroom 3 features a king-size bed (5'0" x 6'6") with sliding doors opening onto a Juliet balcony with far-reaching views.
These bedrooms share access to the family bathroom, with a bath and overhead shower. All bedrooms have ample hanging & shelf storage for your personal belongings.
Outside you'll find recently landscaped terraces to the front and rear, both with seating, ideal for relaxing with a drink or two at the end of a busy day exploring!
Enjoy superfast full fibre broadband with download speed of 248mps, upload 84mps.
Bliss Lodge is conveniently located in the delightful market town of Chipping Norton. The main Cotswolds villages, Oxford city & historic Blenheim Palace are all within 20 miles, with Diddly Squat Farm less than 2 miles away.
Guests have access to the whole detached property as described.
There is a room on the ground floor for our personal use which is locked & inaccessible.
There is ample easy free on-street parking directly in front of the property.
This is our own home here in the UK located in a quiet residential area, so is therefore not a purpose built holiday let. We therefore ask guests to please be respectful and entirely considerate of our home and neighbours when staying here.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, please respect these timings and keep noise to a minimum.
Sorry no pets allowed.
For security reasons, strictly no third party bookings allowed - we will only accept reservations from verified guests who are staying at the property themselves.
Standard check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is by 10am. We may be able to offer a later check-out or earlier check-in for an extra cost subject to availability and via prior arrangement only.
The gas fireplace has open flames so please use the fire guard at all times, particularly if children are staying.
Mid-stay cleans and/or linen changes can be organised on request for an additional charge.
Towels & toiletries are provided along with a welcome pack including tea/coffee/sugar/milk sachets and snacks.
We can supply a travel cot & high chair for an additional cost of ÂŁ25 per stay, please kindly request these at the time of booking. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
Please note that a ÂŁ50 callout charge will apply for misplaced keys and ÂŁ100 will be charged for lost keys, so please be careful with them and place them back in the lockbox when you check-out.
