Fleece Lodge is a detached countryside lodge located within the private grounds of Chad Lakes, surrounded by farmland and natural Cotswold countryside.
The lodge sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms: one double bedroom and two twin (single-beds) bedrooms. A spacious open-plan living and dining area provides a comfortable space to relax after a day exploring the surrounding villages and countryside.
The lodge includes a 55-inch smart TV with access to streaming services with a Netflix 4K (no ads) account for guest use.
There is an outdoor seating area with a Kadai BBQ/fire pit.
The lodge sits within over five acres of private countryside, including two lakes, and is adjacent to open farmland and natural wildlife habitats. The lakes are home to mature carp and attract a variety of birdlife throughout the year, including swans, geese, ducks and our resident heron.
We also have a friendly chicken called Wendy who lives on the property and wanders around the lakes all day looking for food!
Our location is perfect for foodies. We are near Daylesford Organic farm shop & spa and award-winning gastropubs such as The Wild Rabbit and The Kingham Plough. Nearby are Diddly Squat and The Farmer's Dog.
We are also a perfect location for the Big Feastival, which is nearby.
Guests have full private access to Fleece Lodge and the immediate surrounding grounds during their stay.
Private parking is available directly beside the lodge.
The wider Chad Lakes grounds extend across more than five acres. Access to the lakes is occasionally restricted when anglers are fishing or wildlife is nesting.
If you would like to visit the lakes, feed the swans and geese from the bank, or hand-feed Wendy the chicken, please send us a message, and we will happily arrange a suitable time.
We respect our guestsâ privacy, but we are available if needed during your stay. If you have any questions or need assistance, please send a message, and we will respond as soon as possible.
