Lovely stay, great view

A very relaxing stay. Great location and great views from my tenth floor window but sometimes a long wait for the lift - there are only 2 lifts for the entire building. I ended up using the stairs to go down most times. I liked that there was a shelf in the shower - it makes things a lot easier. Everything was very clean and the restaurant food was delicious

Overall we had an excellent stay and were lucky enough to be in one of the recently renovated rooms. The hotel is in an excellent location but the car park is not under cover or secure and is on a vacant block of land full of pot holes and only a limited number of spaces available for guests

We had a great long weekend at Fable. The room was clean and staff were friendly. Our location was great for exploring the city and finding places to dine, especially with Regent Street just across the road.

The proximity to the tram and many walkable sites was awesome. Food options across the street were great. Highly recommend twenty seven steps restaurant! Front desk staff were not friendly at all, very short and when asked questions, not helpful. Breakfast was not great for the cost, so we went to cafes close by. Noisy neighbors and the smells in the hallways were most unpleasant. In the end, it was a bed and a place to leave our bags while we went into Christchurch to play.
