The Buccaneer was fantastic. Clearly the best place to stay in St. Croix. Could have spent the entire vacation on site but too many other attractions on the Island to see. Staff was friendly and professional, dining was excellent. Breakfast on the terrace was a job plus. Beaches pristine and beautiful.

Beautiful setting. Very peaceful with views of the ocean all around. Service was excellent; everyone on staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. Beautiful pool albeit lots of kids so an adult only pool would be great. Dining was limited with restaurant hours hard to stay up with and no dining options after 830pm. Limited options besides salad for vegans and vegetarians. Overall nice place and would definitely recommend.

Overall the stuff was friendly. The hotel and Beach were beautiful. We received a free upgrade upon arrival and the food was delicious. The two pieces of feedback I have are 1. We had to wait at least an hour for our food every time we ordered which can be hard when you have kids who are hungry and ordered butter pasta and 2. You can tell the rooms were a hit by a hurricane or just wear and tear. Some of the rooms were newer. That's the ones we stayed in were a little bit older and had little issues

The Buccaneer Resort offers pleasant accommodations but is considerably overpriced for the level of service provided. For a nightly rate exceeding $700, I would expect thorough housekeeping, including daily sheet changes and proper bathroom cleaning, rather than just towel replacements and bed-making. Throughout our stay, we frequently had to request basic amenities that were not replenished. Additionally, my wife experienced severe food poisoning after dining at the onsite Terrace Restaurant. Despite multiple discussions with hotel staff regarding this incident, no satisfactory action was taken. Overall, our experience at the hotel was highly disappointing.

The only reason this resort gets a good versus great is due to very slow restaurant service and a mediocre food at one of their restaurants (Beauregard’s on the beach). The other restaurants in the resort had slower service as well, but the food and drinks were wonderful! If we hadn’t gone to Beautegard’s then this would be 5 stars. We stayed in the doubloon suites, which are near mermaid beach. The rooms, beach and restaurant there were phenomenal. Whenever we come back to the island we would absolutely stay here and ask for these rooms again. The staff was wonderful and rooms are very clean, comfortable and nice. I highly recommend this resort. Maybe just try the other restaurants. Resort is also very close to cheeseburger in paradise- which is a great eating option as well. On property shuttle was so nice to have as well. Overall you will not be disappointed here.

The staff were outstanding, the property was lovely. The rooms had beautiful views but could use a bit of warmth tonthem also the outside of bathtub tiles were coming up and not too clean. We would return.
