This lovely Victorian Home is located in the Emerald Hill District directly across from APSU & 3 blocks from the ❤of DT. Apt A is the entire Main Level of the historic People’s House in DT Clarksville. Plenty of room for a large family or group to spread out in this 1,950-sf, 3-br, 2-ba home with 12-ft ceilings and spacious living areas. Sleeps 10. Large kitchen is perfect for family meals, desk in parlor serves as home office. Outdoor living areas include firepit, grill & front porch...Enjoy!
The space
You will enter this main level apartment through the front door on the front porch (facing 2nd Street). You enter into a lovely Victorian parlor with ornate wood trim and 12-foot ceilings. The office desk in this area provides the perfect spot to work from home if needed.

Feel like royalty in Bedroom #1. This is a beautiful space with a king-size bed, which also includes a desk, sitting area, and a 43" Smart TV. Bedroom #2 provides a queen bed, walk-in closet, and attached bathroom. Bedroom #3 provides a bunk-bed (twin over full)!

The comfortable living room provides a central hub for your get together! Use the couch as extra sleeping spaces along with the bean bag chair which converts to a queen bed. (Unzip the cover and pull out and fluff the mattress inside. To put back in, fold like a taco by grabbing 2 opposite corners and have a friend hold cover while you put back in....bouncing it as you go! Have fun!) Enjoy your favorite streaming service on the 50 in Smart TV.

The large kitchen will be perfect for gathering & preparing meals! Enjoy the vaulted ceiling, granite countertops, and ample cabinet space in the kitchen. The vent over the kitchen sink is a bit loud, it works, but noisy.

Have fun and relax using the outdoor spaces which include a charcoal grill and fire pit! Charcoal and lighters can be found in the laundry room or in the shared closet upstairs in the landing. You can access the landing through the shared laundry room, which is right outside the locked kitchen door. Please make sure you completely put out the fire and hot coals in both charcoal grill and firepit.

Make sure to enjoy a morning coffee on the front porch. Please be mindful that there are no railings on the front porch (due to historic restrictions).

The vent fan over the range in the kitchen is very noisy.

While the spacious kitchen provides a full-size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range, and garbage disposal, there is not a dishwasher.

Lovely Victorian get away
For starters the hosts are kind and flexible. I booked the wrong dates and at the last minute they punted for me and were able to accommodate my family. The house is comfortable, clean as can be, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and has many extras. The property is close to the cute downtown area and Austin Peay. I would recommend it to anybody coming to Clarksville.

Spacious and comfortable
Our party of 9 had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other's company. Found the location to be perfect for viewing fireworks from afar and away from the crowds, by simply walking a few minutes down to the end of the street. Would love to stay here again if ever in the area.
