Cozy Lake Front Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy the view of the lake with its gorgeous sunsets and array of birds.

Upon your arrival you will be blown away by the peaceful view of the over three acre grounds beautifully manicured with mango, guava, citrus, banana and live oak trees adorned by Spanish moss.

Bring your boat/kayak & enjoy the Crooked River Preserve and lakes.

This is the place to relax and enjoy mother nature. This cottage was recently renovated with tiles throughout except for the newly installed carpet in the living-room and bedroom. For your sleeping convenience, the bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed. And for an additional guest or children, the sofa has a comfortable mattress the size of a queen sized bed. If you are traveling with an infant, we also have a Pack N Play crib. Please let us know and we will have it ready for your arrival. The bathroom has a shower, and a washer and dryer at your disposal. Every room of the house has lake view. Enjoy waking up with the view of the lake and the privacy of seemingly no neighbors.

The cottage is detached from the main house and has a private entrance. Feel free to use the carport, in addition to plenty of parking for extra cars and even a boat or camper.

You are welcome to fish off our lake where we have caught and released many fish. We have two kayaks at your disposal, but please, fish and kayak at your own risk. You agree to not hold the host responsible for any injuries that might result from using our lake. All lake activities must be enjoyed during daylight for your safety.

Within ten to fifteen minutes you can find plenty to do such as golfing, shopping, fishing, sightseeing, wine-tasting, bicycling or walking, blueberry & peach picking, and many choices of dining options.

Conversely, enjoy the Disney parks during the day, about 45 minutes away, and finish your day at this peaceful getaway!

The little house on the Lake

We loved our stay at the peaceful, restful little house on the Lake. It had everything that you could need along with thoughtful touches such as a jar of handwritten positive daily phrases, bottled waters, binoculars, and a variety of tea and coffee. Don’t miss out!

The place was very clean, and the Owners are very kind and communicative/responsive. No problems at all finding it. The lake view is spectacular, and the turkeys on site are an added bonus. I’d definitely come back if in Clermont again.

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

As you enter you are enchanted by a wall of windows showing Central Florida nature at its finest. Mornings bring the call of sandhill cranes and evening's a chorus of frogs. This delightful one room cottage is close enough to everything you can do in Orlando while maintaining the country quiet and natural beauty of the Lakes region. A comfortable king bed, fully-equipped kitchen and the beautiful glassed-in porch are the highlights! Hosts are friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. Worth the drive to be surrounded by natural beauty!

Obsessed with those morning views!

Great property right on the lake! As soon as you enter you’re greeted with the fresh smell of cleanliness. The inside setup was thoroughly thought out. From the indoor window hammock facing the lake to the direction the bedroom bed faces, allowing view of the tv at night.

Oasis

When you need a quiet and peaceful getaway, this little cottage can give you a shelter from life’s chaos. Spotlessly clean, a view of a private lake teaming with wildlife. Peace and quiet from the overwhelming noise of our growing dense population. The owners are a sweet couple who will invite you to a fire to watch a sunset with them. We only stayed two nights but that was all we needed to catch our breath and reset. The little barnyard full of chickens, turkeys and geese was a special treat. Little fluffy babies following their mamas reminds you of the beauty of the simple things in God’s creation.

VRBO as good as it gets!

Easy to find and extremely clean. Beautiful setting with privacy, our host (Jim the owner) was very friendly and attemptive to our needs. He even helped us light the fire pit as we were struggling lol. Excellent experience, will recommend. They have a small farm with turkeys, chickens, ducks and goose. So funny to watch them go about their business.
