Went to the dollar tree to get some drinks girl was rude and because I am white would not give me a second bag for four glass bottles drinks. The gas station ignored me like I did not exist luckily I had enough gas to get to the Westside. I have never experienced as o much racism anywhere. Others said the same thing around coffee this morning. Shameful in this day and age. The hotel was ok they are my favorite hotel chain. We found a pill on the floor and we went to get cleaner for the tub because there was hair in it. I won't stop going to Drury Hotels just NEVER the Beachwood/ Cleveland one !

This was my first time staying at a Drury Inn, so I wasn’t aware that complimentary breakfast and drinks were offered until 7 PM in the evening. I checked in around 7 PM on October 6th and was greeted warmly by a Black female staff member, which made for a pleasant start. However, I was surprised when I was asked to pay $50 more than the rate I had already paid through Expedia. When I asked if it was a security deposit, I was told it was for the drinks provided during the eveing and breakfast. I responded that I wouldn’t be having dinner but was told the drinks and breakfast were already included for free. I then asked why I was being charged more than the Expedia rate if the drinks and breakfast were complimentary. Only then did the staff say there was a computer error and adjusted the price back to the original. If this hotel chain wants to grow and improve, I believe better staff training is essential. I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated differently—perhaps underestimated as an Asian guest who might not speak English well. If that’s the case, I imagine many other Asian travelers may have had similar experiences.

First time staying in this chain, and really liked the included evening meal. After driving all day, it was great to just grab some food from the buffet and not have to go out again or sit through a long table service. Room and staff were great.

Great place to stay!

We are traveling and we stayed at the Drury on the way. We liked it so much we stayed again on the way home. I gave comfort 3 stars because the mattress we slept on was sunken in the center. Neither of us slept well. Otherwise it was great! We will stay there again.
