The host is great! The home is rustic and met our needs for a place to sleep, shower, and sit around in the evening. My opinion, it's perfect for 1-4 people. The ride up the mountain is definitely and interesting one. We had two Jeeps so we were fine but there are a couple areas that are not paved. I would rent this property again since the host was attentive and was easy to contact.

The home we stayed in was ok. There were some things I feel could have made it better. Solar Lighting on the steps to enter the home at night. (It was very dark on the Mountain and raining) Bed in downstairs needs to be upgraded to King & new mattress. Downstairs toilet area very small. Would have loved to had a list of Emergency numbers present in the home incase of a problem. (Power outage for 5.5 hours during the night. Did not know how to contact Electric Company to see what the problem was, and no response till the next morning from the host) Kitchen was great. Had everything you need. Washer & Dryer in the home was very nice. Covered outdoor porch was wonderful. Very peaceful and quiet the entire visit. Very steep mountain road so 4x4 truck was helpful. Would not attempt it in possible bad weather even with 4x4.

We absolutely loved our stay here… it’s the perfect cottage for a small family to enjoy their time in surrounding areas. Cottage is up on a mountain and we were there in June and it was 10 degrees cooler than in town! Cottage is well maintained and has all amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. We will be back!!!
