Not Fancy but Did the Trick

The bed was comfortable (not as hard as many hotel beds), the breakfast was typical, but my husband was disappointed that there were no biscuits for the gravy, only English muffins.

Front desk people were very good. But…room smelled like a dirty dog. Bathtub had heavy black mold on grout/caulk. Plumbing noises from other rooms was loud.

While this hotel was a bit run down, the staff, particularly in the kitchen, was on top of cleaning and stocking food and the beds were some of the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel!

Rude staff

The room wasn’t that clean, the bathtub was old and kind of rusted around the edges. The lady at the front desk with short hair was rude. There was not coffee ready for breakfast all gone, I asked her and she said she will make some and when back to her phone I waited 10 m and still not coffee, this was breakfast time

This hotel was very unclean. There was pubic hair in the shower before we use did. The shower did not drain correctly and water backed up several inches during use. There was blood spots on the shower curtain. The floor was very dirty. Would not recommend or return. Wish I could get my money back.

The swimming pool was warm and dirty, they have very limited breakfast options, and our room smelled like cigarettes even though they say the property is smoke-free.

It’s an old building and not properly maintained. Awful smell as you enter the room. The tub wasn’t draining well and hasn’t been fixed right away. However, the staff were great and approachable.
