ONLY!!! in the village we have olimpia .it swimming pool with range of diving boards, of various heights up to 10 meters. ; distance 10 minutes walk from the house. You have to live it to appreciate it and you will find everything I told you !!!

Superbe et confortable

Et bien central pour visiter Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra et Sienne. Un petit conseil, entre amis 😉, en demi saison pensez Ă  une petite laine dans l'appartement... Les murs sont bien Ă©pais... Ça doit ĂȘtre parfait en Ă©tĂ©.

Magnifique! Au delĂ  de nos attentes!

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© Ă  la Casa Anna, du 2 au 5 mai 2016. L'appartement Ă©tait tout simplement formidable, encore mieux que ce qui est prĂ©sentĂ© dans la description. Les piĂšces sont immenses, l'ameublement superbe, parfaitement Ă©quipĂ©; il ne manque de rien. Le tout est d'une propretĂ© impeccable. Et que dire de la terrasse, oĂč il est si agrĂ©able de prendre l'apĂ©ro. C'Ă©tait au delĂ  de nos attentes! Il est trĂšs bien situĂ© pour visiter Sienne, San Gimignano , la rĂ©gion de Chianti et de nombreux petits villages typiques des environs, sans oublier Colle di Val d'Elsa, qui nous a vraiment charmĂ©, tant par sa beautĂ©, son calme et toutes les facilitĂ©s que nous y avons trouvĂ©es. Alessandro et Liliana sont des hĂŽtes attentionnĂ©s, dĂ©vouĂ©s et vraiment accueillants. Ils ont pris le temps de rĂ©pondre Ă  toutes nos questions et nous ont fourni tous les renseignements nĂ©cessaires. De plus, Ils nous ont offert un excellent vin en arrivant, que nous avons dĂ©gustĂ© sur la terrasse, ainsi qu'un petit pot d'huile d'olives Ă  notre dĂ©part . Elle Ă©tait succulente! Si vous cherchez un endroit parfait pour visiter la Toscane, allez Ă  la Casa Anna, vous serez enchantĂ©s. Merci encore Alessandro et Liliana! Nous aurions tellement aimĂ© rester plus longtemps. Beautiful apartment with stunning views over the valley, in a gorgeous hilltop town. Bakery opposite sold delicious products. Hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and offer a truly amazing home cooked meal should you wish.

This was an amazing property! The hosts were always available to answer questions or help when needed. The home itself was a very large place. Plenty of light with its windows over the front street with a balcony as well as out the back over the Tuscan countryside which had a very large patio. Colle is a mixture of the original medieval town where the home was and then down the hill was a newer modern area with every amenity you would ever need. Everything you would need is an easy walk of only a few minutes from the home, or you can drive if you don’t want to walk. Plenty of restaurants for dining all day long. The hosts, Alessandro and Liliana, were very welcoming from the initial reservation through check out when we left. Great communication made the entire stay very easy. We felt like family when we left, they treated us so nicely. We want to return in the future for a longer stay.

Had an absolutely magical stay in Casa Anna! Our family of 6 fully enjoyed the spacious and inviting apartment, including the play room for the kids and the terrace with bbq. Everything was just perfect, and Alessandro and Liliana were just the most kind and welcoming hosts. We even used the communal pool in town, and the kids loved it. The actual town is just so charming, and there are many excellent restaurants. I’d recommend this place to anyone and fully intend to stay there again when in the area. 15 out of 10!

An unhappy bump in our holiday

Unfortunately this wasn’t a good choice for us. There is no air conditioning at this property and it was summertime and incredibly hot. We tried opening windows but there were no screens so all the mosquitoes came in and we were bit all over. Plus, with windows open and being on a main road meant cars driving and people walking and talking at ALL hours.The WiFi is terrible. It only works in the far bedroom and kitchen. The instant I went into my room I lost connection. The living room is not cozy or comfortable for hanging out with family. There is one couch that is ancient. The cushions fall into the sagging frame of the sofa, and they are hard. There are no televisions so you can’t watch a movie with family after a busy day of exploring. Strange decor and old furniture made it feel like we were staying in someone else’s grandmother’s house, it was very uncomfortable. There is a cleaning fee that they want you to pay in cash at the end which is frustrating since all fees are supposed to be included in the VRBO fees. Lastly, and honestly the most important for me, was that the mattress I slept on was AWFUL! It is an extremely hard spring mattress that looks to be several decades old. The bedding is from the same decade as the mattress. We barely slept our entire stay. Between the terrible mattress and the heat we were miserable. We even considered leaving after the first night but we had already paid for our full stay. Basically we just had to tough it out until it was over.

A Perfect Escape

I cannot rave enough about the property, the location, or the wonderful hosts. My wife and I spent the tail-end of our honeymoon here and it was simply perfect. Allesandro and his wife were simply the best hosts one can ask for, providing amazing recommendations, always available to contact for assistance or advice and taking immense joy and pride in their city and the region. We wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be coming back as soon as we can.

Lovely apartment in wonderful Colle!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Anna. Spacious, beautiful and very convenient for walking to bars, cafes and restaurants in Colle. Amazing views and we loved the terrace! The place served as a great home base for local exploring as well as trips to Siena and San Gimignano, as well as a great wine tasting at Agriturismo Cesani. Alessandro and Liliana were beyond helpful and friendly. The private parking was a challenge to my driving skills but made life so much easier! Grazie mille to you both!!!

Well managed beautiful estate apartment house.

So much history and beautiful things to see. Amazing views and close to so many great sights. We traveled from there to Florence, Siena and many other Tuscan locations, but was able to call it ‘Home’ at night. Cooking in was nice too. Large patio to relax. Very casual. We were blessed to have nice weather. Allesandro and Lilliana were very responsive of our every question and recommended several things to do. Will look forward to a return visit when it allows.

Good central location for Tuscany

Large rooms, plenty of space. Early 19th century decor which adds a slower paced appeal. Patio has a nice setting that overlooks the valley. Good Cafe across the street opens at 0530. Street noise can be bothersome in the morning and evening as a lot of traffic goes down the hill into town or getting to highway.

Amazing Historic Home - Superb Hosts

Casa Anna is an amazing home with a lot of history that hosts Alessandro and Liliana are more than happy to share. The period pieces, great location and wonderful views from the large terrace make this the perfect place to stay in Tuscany. It is close to both Florence and Siena, as well as to smaller towns including Volterra and San Gimignano. The hosts graciously provide a wealth of helpful information about the area. The private parking area is an added bonus. Be sure to check out the amazing bakery across the street and the nearby restaurants within walking distance. This is by far one of the best places to stay in this area of Tuscany and we cannot wait to return to Casa Anna on our next trip. Thank you Alessandro and Liliana for your hospitality. Wonderful stay at Casa Anna

My husband and I plus another couple spent 3 nights at the lovely Casa Anna. Alessandro and Liliana were there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. There was plenty of room for the four of us (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, and dining room) plus a scenic terrace for us to enjoy and relax at the end of the day. Colle di Val d’Elsa was the perfect location for touring the hill towns of Tuscany. The hosts were a wealth of knowledge making suggestions as to what to see in the area. They will also cook for you - we thoroughly enjoyed a 5 course feast!

A wonderful glimpse into an elegant home of the past

Alessandro and his wife are so proud of this beautiful home from their family past, and rightly so. We drove to Tuscany from the airport and after multiple delays we were so tired and it was getting dark. But Alessandro doesn't let anything faze him, he was with us on the phone guiding us on "What's App", and even met us in the middle of a fork in the road to have us follow him into the car park at the back of the house. He and his wife proudly gave us a tour of the home and told us the little quirks to avoid in an older home and made you feel like a friend coming to visit. It is modernized where it is important and you are left with the beauty. What a wonderful way to begin our first day. We loved the history in the house, our hosts, the town and the surrounding area. We went to Rome for the final part of our trip. We loved Rome but missed Colle. If you want a wonderful experience in an old city with great hosts this is the one for your family. Just the view from the kitchen window took our breath away. It is very hilly and I could not handle some of the longer walk up hill, but we had a the car and we managed just fine. A small note, which is a really a matter of preference, was that the beds were very hard. If that is a deal breaker for you then it might matter. For us, just living in this lovely home from the past in this beautiful country even for a matter of days was incredible.

What a Fantastic Place!

Amazing stay. Alessandro and his wife Liliana were such welcoming and gracious hosts. You definitely need to take them up on their in house Tuscany dinner offer - it was magnificent. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our 2 couples - it even has extra room for another couple or children. Highly recommend staying here - you will love it!

Casa Anna was a delight, a step back in time with its decorated ceilings, tessellated floor tiles, and precious family heirloom furniture. Alessandro and Liliana were the perfect hosts, and were justifiably proud of their ancestral home. They were on the doorstep to welcome us, and show us around the spotlessly clean accommodation (and secret cellar!) Casa Anna is in an unspoiled Tuscan village with vibrant restaurants and the BEST patisserie across the road. We wish we could have stayed much longer :)

A delight from start to finish!

We feel so lucky to have found Casa Anna in the wonderful city of Colle Di Val D'Elsa for our first ever trip to Italy. Alessandro and Lilliana made every step, from booking to departure, a pleasure. They made us feel at home in their home. Casa Anna is exactly as pictured. It was a very large, clean and comfortable space for 3 adults including 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. We were so close to many delightful places in Colle (the coffee shop and bakery across the street, the piazza just down the street, and great shops). It is a quick and easy drive to Sienna, if that is on your list of things to do. As other guests have commented, it is a must to take advantage of their home cooked Tuscan dinner. So fresh, so delicious and such fun, the eggplant parmesan is a must try! We made lifelong memories due to our wonderful hosts and the beautiful city of Colle. Grazie mille

War sehr angenehm, die Unterkunft liegt Zentral und sehr gut. In direkter Umgebung gibt es nette Möglichkeiten der Einkehr. Alles im Haus vorhanden, es fehlt dort an nichts. In der nÀheren Umgebung San Gimignano und Siena. Zu empfehlen ist der Naturpark mit der Möglichkeit zu schwimmen und zu entspannen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber sehr aufmerksam und mit vielen guten Tipps.

Excellent stay in Tuscany- amazing hosts!

We had an amazing stay at Alessandro and Liliana’s place. The check in process made us feel very welcome with excellent advice on things to do and a full tour of the features of the amazing property. The house is well-equipped and situated within a great village- all you expect from Tuscany but without having been over-touristed. Some great local restaurants and swimming spots. Alessandro and Liliana are super friendly and hospitable and we will be recommending their place to others.
