Breakfast was not good, one day will have biscuit and eggs, no protein, on next day will have protein (burger patty) and no biscuit. One of the days there was no milk and we had to wait for 35min to get milk. Shower are wasn't clean enough...had hair on the walls and never got cleaned, although we informed them.

Property was clean, staff was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the AC unit was too noisy. If turned off the room became very humid so I had to keep it running.

older property that has been renovated. The air conditioning was very loud. the pull out couch mattress was stiff and uncomfortable. Had to call front desk one night due to loud neighbors banging on the door, wall, slamming doors, yelling and running in hallway late at night - after 11PM; staff were very nice, breakfast food was good.

For the most part, the hotel was ok. The bathroom floor was a little dirty, hair on the floor, stains on the bedding (maybe from the washer or dryer, it looked like grease), dried strawberry in the elevator all 3 days I was there. The free breakfast was nice and the staff was so nice.

Toilet mishap, but hotel is good otherwise

Evidently someone previous put something down the toilet that slowed it down to being unusable. While this is unavoidable we were disappointed that there was not a maintenance person available on a weekend to help with it so we were left to go to the lobby toilet. If we were staying longer they would have probably moved us but we just had to survive the morning and leave. Please have a maintenance person on call for emergencies like this.

I was pleasantly surprised for the price. Full kitchen, bathroom looks like it has been recently renovated, very spacious. I would most definitely stay at The Hawthorn again in the future.

College Station Comfort!

Very comfortable stay. We liked the layout, as we required a full-size fridge & kitchen with cooking capability. Bathroom was spacious w good shower water flow, & beds were comfy. Room & facility were clean; breakfast was very good- gotta love those Texas-shaped waffles! Really enjoyed the atmosphere of friendliness & helpfulness along the staff. Brandie Lewis (manager?) was wonderful; both Crystal (housekeeping) & Brenda were also supportive & friendly- they obviously take pride in their hotel & their work. First time to stay here (friend’s wedding), as it’s always booked way ahead for Texas A&M events & football weekends, but we’d stay again.
