The check-in host was great, super friendly and quick. The room look nice and clean but then…. I went to shower and i shut the door and there it was…MOLD!! Not just a little a lot, in my opinion. Not good Tru! DO BETTER

When I checked into the first room there was stuff all over the floor, the toilet was dirty and the air-conditioning unit was making a god-awful sound. I called the front desk and asked to switch rooms (they were nice and no issues). Then I checked into a new room, and the air was making the god-awful sound but was a tad bit better. Overall was not real happy with the quality of this hotel and when I come into town for work I wouldn't be staying there again.

Dried blood on a towel, 20 min to check in because computers were off. Manager came in and checked us in finally. Tons of dust in bathroom vent. Stains on bedsheet. Breakfast was inedible. Juice machine was producing water only and worker saw but didn’t fix it. She was folding towels at the front desk. Not friendly staff at all, not evening/night or day shift. Broken remote, missing backing of remote. So many things - the management does not care about how this place is ran. I would be so embarrassed if I was responsible for running this place and it looked & operated like this. We will never stay here again. Probably never in a Tru hotel anywhere because of this.

Receptionist staff wasn't friendly and don’t greet upon arrival to the hotel. Front Door to hotel room was not swept. Had to wait 4 hours for clean towels as there wasn’t any clean linens and they had to call in a housekeeper to do laundry. Room was dirty on our first day. I had to get housekeeper to come and clean the room .

Minimalist Hotel

The front desk person could not tell us how to get the TV to work. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom toilet was so low on the floor we had to use the ones in the lobby area. There wasn’t even a glass or cup in the room for water. And the room was almost $200. Will never stay at a Tru again.

The shower was disgusting. There is green mold growing on the shower door. Very unhealthy for guests and made me uncomfortable in that room. The TV was fuzzy so it was unwatchable. Would not stay there again

Great lcoation, safe and comfy - nothing fancy

Parking was easy and secure even with a small Uhaul. Staff was wonderful and super helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Only complaint is the rooms had a super small fridge, no microwave and no coffee maker. It also had no drawers - only open tables, consoles to put your things. Housekeeping was a miss - were there 3 full days and nver got fresh towels or trash removal except from the front desk. Conditioner was totally empty at check in and black mold in the bottom corners of shower.

True hotel by Hilton is a basic economy hotel. It’s about 15 minutes from anywhere that you’d wanna go and Brian or college Station. Adequate would be the word I would use to sum up everything.

The property was great, the front desk is who wasn’t there when we arrived. It took a while to get there and when we left again no one in the front and then there was just a bucket saying place cards here to check out. I have never seen that.
