Semi isolated cabin with beautiful views of nature.
Semi isolated cabin with full circle drive an front porch view of nature. Spacious rooms with a kentucky cabin feel. Accommodating furniture but could use an update. With the porch lighting being close to door it drew lots of bugs to the door. In a pinch with the heat spikes reaching 90's this cabin gave our family of 6 plus our pup a reprieve from the heat. Our teens had a blast playing hide and seek style games in the dark inside the cabin. Very unique master bath enabled us to relax after a busy vist to kentucky. Overall nice stay, the cabin could use some minor repairs. Limited selection of cookware made it challanging to prepare meals for our large family as we do alot of cooking from scratch. We really appreciated the private feel to the home.
Everything was as we expected, clean and maintained. Well stocked kitchen enabled us to prepare our own meals and also put us close to our destination. All worked out well. However we did need an iron bu it was all good.
We booked this cabin as it was close to our family and we were in town for our first grandchildâs baby shower. We planned to have the family over one night and bbq out on the nice patio displayed in the photos. There was no bbq to be found the patio chairs were coming apart And we honestly would not want anyone to come visit us at that place so we made dinner reservations instead. We only slept there which was still not even comfortable. Master bed is supposed to be queen but more like a double. My husband is 6â5â and had to sleep diagonally by himself. I slept on the couch to be safe as sleeping on the kids bunk beds was a scary thought. Door handles were falling off, water backed up in shower and sinks, several lights didnât have bulbs and the power went out several times. If you are looking for some privacy in the woods with a bunch of kids then this place would probably work for you. Just unfortunate for us as it could be really convenient for our trips into town and could be a really cute cabin in the woods if it received some TLC. There are broken windows, shelf above the kitchen with all the Nic Nacs needs a good cleaning lots of spider web's throughout very old and musty smell. Our adult daughter borrowed an air mattress from our older daughter and slept in the living room on it. There are so many beds in this cabin donât get me wrong but like I said itâs for a bunch of kids on a camp out. I canât get the last few words to delete so I left them.
a scary thought.
The house was very clean, spacious and really comfortable. The secluded area was excellent. The only thing was the grill was missing, but other then that great.
It was nice and quiet area. I would add like paper towels, a little more condiments, better pots, and pans other than that there was a nice little getaway very quiet and peaceful
The check- in was easy and we had no problems. There was a wasp nest by the door that we had to get rid of though. Take this review with a grain of salt because it had been very rainy in the area during and before our stay. Upon first step into the house we could smell cigarette smoke and general dampness. My husband is very sensitive to mold and it set him off immediately with a headache and we ended up making the quick decision that we couldn't stay. The rooms were large and spacious and it was clean enough, although not super clean. The owner was gracious enough to refund our money quickly. It could be a nice place if the air quality was better.
My husband and I stayed with my cousin and her husband. We enjoyed a relaxing, quiet weekend, with close access to the lake and nearby towns. Highly recommended to stay here if storms are in the forecast! The property manager offered prompt communication, and the house was clean.
Great place for a father and son hunting trip! Perfectly located near tons of public hunting land and lake access! The deck and fire pit were our nightly reminiscing spot and perfect for star gazing and quiet! The house has all you could ask for for a perfect family getaway! Hope to be back soon!
Great place for Fishermen on Green River Lake. Itâs very quiet and secluded. Boat parking is easy with circle driveway. Interior is very spacious with everything you need. Doesnât get any better!
My husband and I loved our stay here. The location is secluded and quiet, so it was very relaxing. We enjoyed having a full-size kitchen, and being able to bring our dogs was such a huge weight off our shoulders. We are definitely looking forward to our next trip.
We had a local tournament and prefer not to do the hotel routine. This was perfect. Just right for our needs. Comfortable beds, ample parking for three rigs and two additional trucks. A little off the beaten path but our stuff was safe, place was roomy and clean. Host was awesome
Took annual fishing trip with co-workers and everyone enjoy the peace and quiet. Home is secluded and canât see neighbors. Made the fishing trip even better. Will stay again
Peaceful, quiet getaway for my husband and myself. Brought our 2 dogs, enjoyed nearby hiking trails and beautiful autumn colors. Will definitely return!
