How close is Sun cottage near downtown to downtown Columbus?
The place was exactly as shown; clean and cozy! The host was super friendly, helpful, and always responded in a timely manner with questions. Additional positives: The place is stocked with laundry and coffee, streaming services were available, and the water pressure was on point. It's located at the beginning of the historic district and is basically a straight shot to the Civic Center and ball fields in one direction and 4-5 blocks from the main historic strip in another. The only negative to staying close to the historic district is the train so bring a fan to drown out the horns. It is an older house and shows its age but still charming and I felt perfectly safe in the location.
Place looked exactly like the photos however it was hard to get in contact with the host. 20 minutes before I arrived I was told we were able to do an early check in after attempting to contact the host for two days prior. Communication was not good at all. Would not stay at this property again.
Very cute place. The host was gracious to let us check in early, but when it was time to go to sleep the sheets had bad stains and there were crumbs in the bed! Thank goodness there was a washer and dryer. Location was on the edge of historic district. We asked if we could also leave a day early and she never got back to me till the night before. Should have stayed another night at the Hampton inn
