“HEAVEN’S CANYON” is nestled among the oak trees in the Frio Canyon, enjoy this comfortable 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, hill country style home that sleeps up to 16. Enjoy a brisk morning walk or a cup of coffee on the back patio, which overlooks the swimming pool and hills of Concan. Views of the sunsets and wildlife are a bonus to this roomy vacation rental. The home is located just minutes away from the clear waters of the Frio River. Easy access, ample parking, and a comfortable home all add up to the perfect place to make those Frio memories. Concan offers river floats, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and much more! Take the family to Garner State Park for hiking, swimming, and of course the nightly dances with your favorite tunes. Entertainment includes golfing at The Club at Concan and weekend concerts (during the summer months) at the well-known “House Pasture” and “Joe Jimmy’s”.

PET FEES: This rental requires a pet fee of $25/day for each pet. All pets must be kept in a kennel when left behind at the property and leashed when outside. Pet fee will be collected after booking confirmation.

To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 3 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

Bedroom 2 — sleeps 8 – 2 full/full bunks
Bedroom 3 — sleeps 5 – 1 queen; 1 twin bunk; 1 twin
Living room — sleeps 1 – 1 futon

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and pillowcases, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.

We provide:

My guess and i all had a great time. Heaven's Canyon is a great place to stay, it was a perfect size very cozy and clean. We enjoyed the pool, the layout of the home excellent. Great choice!

Stay at Heavens Canyon

Check-in could've been better. We get there 30 minutes after check-in time only to find out they had made new keys for our cabin but they were left in a truck somewhere. We were told to head to the cabin and they would meet us there with the keys. 3 no answer phone calls and 30 minutes later we get the cleaning service key. We never got our keys. The bunk beds are very difficult to make and the mattresses are horrible.

Exactly what we needed.

Location was great and distance from the neighbors was perfect. We couldn’t hear their music and they couldn’t hear ours. The TV in our master bedroom wouldn’t connect but it didn’t bother us as all. Might have been an easy fix if we tried but we didn’t. We had a blast, only way we don’t rebook this location would be if we have more family members join us next year.

The beds are absolutely horrible. The mattress springs pop you in the back when you move, the bed frames need to be reassembled and tightened up or completely replaced. They moved and swayed. The stove needs to be cleaned or replaced. The burners are electric, but literally caught fire twice from underneath the top panel of the stove. HOW? The front left burner never got hot enough to boil water, yet caught on fire. The cleaning team needs to do so much better. Rice grains all over the pantry shelves and the floor, we didn't have rice. Strangers stray hairs all over the shower walls, and mud on the floors. No WiFi for guest really? The pool was nice. I'd never stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was clean and the location was as expected since we knew where it was located before we rented. The kitchen was dark and the appliances were poor at best. The pots and pans were rusty, dented and some were greasy. Kitchen utensils were just barely adequate. There were only three bedside lamps, one was completely broken, and one didn't have a bulb. The house is dated and needs a thorough upgrade of it's amenities, particularly the kitchen as stated, bedding and general appearance. The manager sent over one frying pan and two small lamps which I did appreciate. We have many years of staying on the Frio in various accommodations but I would not recommend this one.
