Looking forward to the next trip!

The cabin was a little smaller than the impression from the pictures but it was all we needed. The only thing I didnt like was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that, the week seemed to fly by and I cant wait til I can make another trip. When that time comes, I will definitely look into booking this cabin again. Check-in/out was easy and had we needed anything I had the contact info to the property manager.

Had potential, but disappointed

I feel that this listing was misleading. This rental is owned by a company, not an individual. My inquiries through VRBO went unanswered. I guess they want you to call the company directly. It's obvious that there is no owner checking on this property. Safety - After our first night, I noticed that the smoke detector was not on the wall, but sitting on top of a cabinet behind the front door. No batteries, no connection. Really concerning in such an old place, during a dry season and without working windows in the bedrooms too. Cleanliness - renters are expected to hand wash dishes and put them away. I guess we are just trusting people to do this and not checking. I always wash any dishes before I use them at any rental anyway, but at this rental the dishes were visibly dirty. Accuracy of listing - This listing says the cabin sleeps six. Unless you sleep three to a bed or bring your own air mattresses, that's not happening. The sleeper sofa was really old and completely dilapidated. I know they're never great, but honestly no one could ever sleep on this. Paper thin, broken springs, the works. My son ended up sleeping on the sofa cushions instead. The pictures were fairly accurate and the front seating area is pretty, but the property is right off of a busy highway. It's very noisy. Pros- very close to Garner. Good hot water and pressure in shower. Allows pets (with a fee). Beds were ok. If this is all you need, you might be happy here

Place is in a nice area however, we got there we turned on a/c window units and one was spitting water towards the bed. We then started to cook and out of no where the table broke and we were unable to have dinner at the table .

Concan area cabin

There is plenty of room inside and we loved sitting on the swinging bench under the live oaks. There were lots of birds at the property and we were close to some nice natural areas. The kitchen was adequate although a drying rack for the dishes and repair of the faucet would be good additions. The mattress on the bed we used was average. All in all it is a very nice place to stay.

Nice Getaway Spot Close to Garner State Park

The place was great. Just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. The outside grill and firepit were a great and the covered outdoor area was great to play games on. Again great place. A few things that surprised us was 1) Bath, hand and dish towels were not provided. Upon review it does say that in the FAQ that I missed but I would expect that as a standard for such places. 2) We only had 1 toilet paper and 1 paper towel.

You Get What You Pay For

If the rate is that cheap, lower your expectations. The picture is very misleading. They must've just built the place and then took the pictures. Cabin is old, decrepit. Lawn needs to be mowed, trash taken out, pesticides sprayed, and new lights installed at the front, so you can actually see what you're doing when you're cooking and roasting marshmallows. Pay the extra hundred or so to get a cabin on the river, it is so worth it.

Cute cabin Acomidated all our needs. There is only 1 restroom. There are a few games and a air matress in the closet. We enjoyed the games. The ac units get super cold at night bring extra blankets. Over all we had a great experience and will most likely use it again next yearâ€đŸ˜

The location was great- just 5minutes from the park. Property was clean and had everything we needed. The communication was above and beyond, responded to my questions immediately. Cute & Close to Gardner State Park

Cute two bedroom off main road 4 miles to state park. Location made it easy to go back and forth as desired. Cabin was clean and had wifi, charcoal grill, outside seating, etc. it was just two adults so it was perfect.
