This lodge was in a beautiful place. The rooms were clean and reasonably up-to-date. I think a microwave and minifridge would be a welcome addition. The pool closed too early- 5:30 pm

This is a beautiful park and the CCC lodge from the 1930s was a quaint and fabulous place from which to enjoy our visit there.

The Picnic tables were old and falling apart, outside was not clean, inside was very out dated, bed was like sleeping on the floor, it was very dirty, ants and gnats everywhere, had to have staff change bed because it was dirty and hair all over. For the price I was expecting better. Very disappointed for the 3 hour drive.
No conditioner, shower curtain had mold all over it.

It was a quick overnight stay. We went to the falls and ate at the buffet. We enjoyed a beautiful view. Room was ok. Its an old lodge. It is beautiful and a good location.

We stayed in a one room cabin. It was kind of clean but very dated The door to the bathroom would not close even if you slammed it. The main entry door also would not close well The bathtub is very dated and was surface cleaned but not deep cleaned. There was mildew in the grout. The TV was tiny and on a cabinet that blocked the refrigerator. They layout was just strange

The lodge outside was rustic, but the room needed a renovation, bathtub dingy, furniture old, windows broken, Was made to climb 3 stories up to room.also the pool was not on the property. We loved the waterfalls and trails & trees.

The property was beautiful but the check in process was terrible. The counter lady said our card was declined due to mis-match of addresses. Then she wouldn't take a check. Note we had no problem with our credit card right before and right after check in. We were staying with them for my mom's funeral so the extra stress was terrible. She was unable to make any suggestions even though it seemed like a date entry error. Finally a stranger paid for us in cash and we wrote him a check. I did report the situation when we checked out and they agreed that the issue was on their side.
