House Chloe 1 in organic farm Bioporos

Located just above the protected Korission lagoon( Natura 2000) in a unique and beautiful region of high ecological value and interest, it came very normal to us to upfront cultivate our farm in a sustainable, eco-friendly way and finally get(officially) the certification on organic cultivation. These last years our family planted 2000 olive trees creating a small and exemplar olive grove that produces organic oil of excellent quality!
The sustainable management that we apply on our farm allowed and still allows, to co-exist a variety of savage, local, medicinal and edible herbs that we protect, reproduce and continuously trying to promote via a variety of practical and easy ways, creating medical tinctures, soaps, various cosmetics, in culinary recipes etc. Simultaneously, during the seasonal cultivations we apply various forms of intercropping not only to avoid the use of chemicals pesticides and fertilizers but also as a drastic way to conserve the variety of natural environment!
In our restaurant we cook according to traditional southern Corfiot recipes, inherited and passed down from grandmother to grandchildren, using strictly certified organic products from our farm or other local certified organic farms, providing alongside, a large variety of vegan and vegetarian delightful dishes.Also, as our interests on creating a self-sufficient organic farm expand, in these last two years have established beehives trying and finding ways to combine traditional beekeeping with modern and gentle to bees methods. Attempting to make our farm friendly and attractive to bees, we cultivate various apicultural plants to achieve a high quality honey and pollen organic production.
Near us there are the sand dunes of a beautiful 'blue flagged' beach,
where some sea sport activities take place such as wind surfing, wave skating, along with swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, sand-castle building... you name it.
