Located in the golf cart zone. Large driveway for parking. Boat parking ok. Plush towels, flat screen smart TV's in every room, washer/dryer, stainless steel appliances, a fully stocked kitchen and adorable coastal decor are just a few amenities that will make you feel at home and have you looking forward to your next vacation here at Blue Anchor.

Our spacious outdoor area boasting a private pool, a gas grill, and picnic table is perfect for having a drink and relaxing with family and friends after a day at the beach. There is an outdoor shower for a quick rinse before relaxing outside or heading indoors. Your outdoor oasis awaits you at Blue Anchor.

The master en-suite bedroom offers a plush king size bed, large walk in closet, smart flat screen TV and private bath with double sinks. The guest bedroom features a queen size bed with a smart flat screen TV. The bunk room has one double over double bunk bed and one twin over twin bunk bed and also has a smart flat screen TV.

The Living Room features a leather queen size sleeper-sofa, loveseat, 55 inch 4K smart flat screen TV with Spectrum Cable, and Wii gaming system. Spacious open floor plan with large windows allows for abundant sunshine and natural lighting.

Dining and kitchen area features a large table that seats 8 with kitchen bar seating for 4. Private front porch area great for morning coffee and bird watching.

For your protection, the front exterior of the home is monitored for theft and vandalism by a surveillance system.

Really loved the house and having a private pool. Very good location, close to the beach and a dollar general just down the street for anything we needed. Only 2 things i had issues with were the house wasnt as clean as i expected...floors and couches hadnt been cleaned. Also the bbq pit didnt work well. The flame barely came out so i wasnt able to use that. But my family overall very much enjoyed our stay.

Overall a good stay. 4/5 seems low more of a 8.5/10 but that's not an option. The house was mostly clean, but some areas could use more attention. All the silverware and dishes we grabbed needed to be washed before we could use them. The glass cooktop is cracked not a dealbreaker, it works fine but it can cut your hand if you’re not careful. (Totally my fault for running my hand across it.)Location is great quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking and an easy walk to the beach if that’s your thing. Pool was awesome, just needed a bit of a clean, but that’s no issue for us since we own a pool company.We did have the door lock battery die during our stay of no fault of anyone, the owner was very responsive and had us back inside within a couple minutes. Management had it fixed within the hour great service there on both their ends.Plenty of towels and amenities. It seems like an absentee owner situation, which isn’t a problem in itself, but it feels like the management company is starting to let some little things slide over time.Overall, it’s a nice spot at a fair mid tier price point just expect slightly higher cleanliness standards.

The beach owners were very communicative. The house was very cleaned. The internet worked just fines. My son enjoyed the small pool. The pool was perfect for the kids because it’s only 4 ft deep. They had an outdoor grill. Overall the stay was good.

Beach Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Port Aransas. The swimming pool was a hit, it kept the kids entertained and happy. The location was very convenient, allowed us to get to the beach and restaurants quickly. Host was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire stay. All in all, it was a memorable and relaxing getaway for everyone.

Great house & location + gorgeous pool

We loved our stay at the Blue Anchor even though we spent most of our time indoors due to a tropical storm. The pool is beautiful and was perfect for our young kids - I wish we would have rinsed out their suits and clothes after swimming because they got bleached from the chlorine. The layout was perfect for our family and kids loved the bunk room. Beds were very comfortable but furniture was pretty minimal - couch is tired and would have loved to have some sort of dresser in guests rooms. Would recommend curtains for windows since the house next door left their exterior lights on all night and shone very brightly into that sides room. Mini Travel crib available which worked great for our baby but would have been too small for our 2 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay! Communication with host was great. Coffee Waves has delicious breakfast sandwiches - highly recommend.

End of Summer/Anniversary Trip

This was our second stay at the Blue Anchor. The home is beautiful,comfortable and in a great location. The property managers reply with quickness. Just so happened our trip fell in the middle of a tropical storm. But the house had everything and we still enjoyed the storms, games that were provided.
