Redfish House is a wonderful home located near all of the restaurants, shopping and activities. Comfortable, modern furnishings beautifully compliment this new home with accommodations for ten. Redfish House space features blended living and dining areas, open kitchen, and half bath.
You will also be able to enjoy meals from the homes fantastic kitchen. There, you will experience the high end stainless steel appliances, island with wooden top, stunning cabinetry and spacious bar. This kitchen has all of the items needed to prepare that wonderful meal! The relaxing living room, well-appointed dining room and incredible kitchen are all included in this open floor plan for everyone to enjoy after a fun-filled day at the beach. The living room has a large sectional (which has a sleeper sofa), TV, Wi-Fi, cable and a gaming/card table.
The master bedroom (BR1) offers a king size bed, flat screen TV and a private ensuite bath. The master bedroom also has its very own private deck that overlooks the . The other two bedrooms are on the same floor. The first guest bedroom (BR2) offers two twin/twin bunkbeds. The second guest bedroom (BR3) offers a king size bed, with a flat screen tv. This bedroom also offers a balcony view to enjoy the morning breeze and the Nature Preserve that backs up to Fish Camp.

Guests have parking spaces for 2 vehicles. A golf cart rental will use one of the spaces. Parking is not allowed on the street. *Boat and trailer parking is not permitted.

Stayed with 4 of our grandchildren. If this house was on the beach, I would say it was the perfect place. Love the layout and all of the room. Kids had a bast in the pool with "neighbor" kids. House was clean, furniture was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

There were bed bugs in the room that overlooks the pool. Took a video of that. Gum was also stuck to the wall in the room with bunk beds when we arrived. The moment we walked inside the air condition was set at 88 so for a check in for 4pm the house wasn’t finally cool until almost midnight.

Spacious Condo for Families

The home gave our family plenty of room, and the kids loved having a bunk room with a TV and shelves to store their toys. The two side rooms had adjoining bathrooms which made it easy for each set of parents to do bedtime routine for kiddos. The kitchen was well supplied with all necessary utensils and cookware. The pool was directly in front of the patio area and there was a great little outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. The only issue we had was that the description of the condo stated that golf carts were available for use, which when we called the manager confirmed it did indeed state that, but that they were all rented out, even though I had messaged previously about the process of renting one. When we tried to rent a golf cart at another location, due to the location of the condo, they said it is illegal to ride golf carts on the street leading to the condo. We would be ticketed if caught driving on that road. It was quite a frustrating situation.

Beautiful property, No Wifi

The property overall was beautiful and located in a prime position to multiple on the island. The outside patio area is ideal for a bbq or seafood boil with the pool right there in sight! The decor inside was very beachy with a farmhouse twist. Our guests really enjoyed the living space. There were a few down sides to the stay. The cleanliness wasn’t the best upon arrival. Hair in the tubs, hair and stains on the extra pillows and kitchen dishes were mostly dirty and required washing. The WiFi was out for our entire 3 day stay. We reported it multiple times (5+) and received no resolution. Which can be a big deal if your stay is rained out like ours was. Or if you want to stream a movie before bed. Bring a Hot Spot if you can. Property Management comped one night due to our disappointment and lack of resolution to no WiFi. Lastly, If you’re not in physical shape before you come, you will be before you leave. With the kitchen and living space on the third floor, you constantly are climbing the stairwell. Although the property was beautiful, I would not return to it due to the reasons listed above and at the price tag you must pay.

Friendly hosts, okay experience

Overall the stay here was fine. We had a few issues, no AC the first night (in the heat of Texas summer!!) and no wifi the whole time, which my husband needed for work. (And we also needed if we wanted to watch TV.) The hosts were mostly good at responding to texts and calls, and they were super friendly. The repair people were also really friendly. But after a couple days asking about fixing wifi, they ghosted me. There were a couple hiccups here and there with the house, but overall it was a clean home with a great kitchen and gathering space, and we had a good time.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time! Very nice and clean home. Lived up to our expectations. Would definitely book again in the future. I’m not a complainer but we called twice to get our tv’s to work. We were told someone would be over to check. Never saw anyone either time. Another unsightly thing was a big fat Rat that we saw rummaging around the swimming pool. Other than those issues it was awesome!

Easy process, great location would recommend. Only downfall was the living room is upstairs vs bedrooms so have to climb 3 flights of stairs to living and kitchen area.

Great Location

This property is pretty and in a great location. The bedrooms are on a separate floor as the kitchen/dining/living room, which is nice for noise and making breakfast. The AC kept the house nice and cool. The beds were soft with fans in both rooms with king beds. The kid's bunkbeds were nice and also soft. Great location for washer and dryer. They provided a few toiletry items. The pool was cute and just enough to enjoy. There are a lot of stairs for this location due to it being a 3 story home but it looks like they may have some handicap resources available as it had a elevator on the back patio. Two reasons that I am giving a lower rating and is that the internet we could never get connected. The password didn't work. The office tried to help us too and no luck, they even came twice to provide the routers password and still nothing. The phone towers on the island are shotty so having internet is a must in your place otherwise you don't have service. The thing I most disliked was the owners have cameras on the front porch and back porches. I felt like that was an invasion of our privacy. Any conversation or just relaxing could be observed, even if they weren't active cameras at the time, it's uncomfortable. This didn't allow us to enjoy the marsh's outside in the morning sitting on the balcony. Definitely made us uncomfortable. I

Great Property!

All around great experience with this property! It was easy to check in and get rolling via text message—had all the codes and passwords out of the gate without having to visit their office. The place was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Pool was perfect for our kids and the layout of the house let us play and sleep with plenty of space. Support for anything from a broom to a cart rental was an easy text away and they were super quick to respond. We’ll definitely be back to visit here again!

Family & Friends Beach Trip

My family and my best friends family rented this house last weekend and we had a great time! The setup of the bedrooms was perfect for two couples and 4 kiddos. I loved that the top floor was just one great room, we spent most of our time there when we weren’t at the beach. The beach was a short drive and we were close to dining and shopping. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay at this cute house again.

Convenient Beach Access

This place is very nice and location is great. Very accessible to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. However, a few things that were not communicated were the master shower door did not close, was jammed and off the hinges. Also maybe add a wine opener to the kitchen utensils. My main concern were the cameras on each balcony that were not communicated with me. I understand the one camera of surveillance but not the others and none of the other houses had cameras. I would think that's invasion of privacy. The lift was also not communicated with me and was unaware that we were not to use it. All in all this place was beautiful. Thank You

Loved the location and the cleanliness! Only downside was the second pool wasn’t opened & had to get our own cleaning supplies. Cameras were also (noticeably) pointing our direction on the balconies which we understand having cameras on the property, but the location they had them takes away from the privacy of being in the home. Other than that, we loved it!
