I don’t want to be too negative but this wasn’t up to the standard I’ve previously experienced at Wingate. The staff however was excellent! I arrived around 8pm on a Saturday night and the room I’d requested was gone. This was after I’d been emailed asking for specific requests. No matter, I got to move the next morning since we were staying 4 nights in total. The room was nice except for the extra firm mattress, no pillow top here, the bathroom was clean but the faucet in the tub dripped, the AC worked like a champ. Breakfast definitely was underwhelming, the eggs were definitely “off” and the selection was pretty skimpy, probably the worst hotel coffee I’ve ever consumed. Finally, there was a bit of an ant infestation in our room as evidenced by a fruit juice cup I left on the desk in the morning was full of tiny ants when I returned…I could have just been totally unlucky, and I believe the staff truly tried their best but it’s unlikely I’d stay there again

They went above and beyond to help my toddler with a snack which they didn’t have to do but did! They also have an amazing breakfast it’s the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel it’s amazing really we were impressed!

It was not the correct date that this reservation

I booked tonight for my wife and I at this facility, but sadly, did not put in the proper date. Hotels.com assumed that it was last night when I made the reservation for next Friday night, and apparently we got charged for a night that we were nowhere near this motel. I really would appreciate if somebody could contact me and change the reservation to next Friday evening, 25 April, same hotel-and give me my money back for a simple and honest mistake.
