We had an excellent week in this beautiful cottage.
Chantal was a fantastic host- responsive to our questions and with some good local recommendations too!
The house is really beautifully kept, and makes the most of its relatively compact size. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well appointed.
No parking outside (exactly as described in the property listing) but I was always able to park on a nearby road within a 1-2 minute walk maximum. (It is a hilly area though so maybe a factor if all guests had mobility issues, but for us it was no bother at all)
Wouldnât hesitate to stay here again or to recommend to others.
P.S. location is superb for Cowes town centre, with absolutely loads of great restaurants and cafes within a 5 minute walk
Our stay at this holiday home was very enjoyable. The location is highly convenient, with a supermarket and a bus stop just a 5-minute walk away. It takes also only 5 minutes to the center with a good restaurants and shops.
The house is cozy and clean, providing a comfortable environment. The owner is very friendly and helpful, making our interactions pleasant. Communication was smooth, and we felt well-assisted throughout our stay.
To sum up, if youâre seeking a holiday in Cowes that combines a prime location, a cozy and clean ambiance, and the warmth of welcoming hosts, look no further. This charming oasis is the perfect choice for an unforgettable time. Thank you Chantal, we will definitely come back!
The property was just as described and we were very impressed.
Communication from Chantal was excellent and everything from gaining access, the property itself and the location could not be faulted.
The house was very clean and well appointed, with everything we needed.
We would happily recommended this property and Cowes itself for a great stay on the island.
Thank you to Chantal for making us so welcome.
Good location for exploring the IOW. Restaurants and bars nearby. Great seafood. Good bus service on island for getting around. House well furnished and had everything we needed
We had a lovely time staying here. Chantal was very responsive to enquiries and went out of her way to accommodate us. The beds were all comfy and my 2 girls loved the loft room. A great location for walking into central cowes. Weâd love to come back.
This is a really nice, spacious house. Very comfortable furniture and a well equipped kitchen. I also had no problem working remotely with the WiFi. Chantal was very caring and responsive before and throughout our stay. Everything was neatly prepared, really welcoming. And the location is just a short walk from the centre.
Chantal is a wonderful owner. She was very quick to respond to some queries we had pre booking.
The cottage is very close to the centre of Cowes.
Parking is not available outside but we didn't have a problem stopping to drop off.
House is accurately described and a good base for a exploring the IOW
Great communication with owners. Beautiful cottage with loads of home comforts... local to the chain ferry and beach with some lovely pubs and restaurants in close proximity. Would definitely stay again.
We were very impressed with Chantal's property just a 5 minute walk from the High Street in West Cowes; the location was perfect for reaching all parts of the island, which has so much to offer for a variety of tastes. The acommodation was extremely well equipped and there were several thoughtful touches, such as the lovely welcome flowers plus basic supplies to kick-start the holiday! Although there is no parking on site it was not too difficult to find a parking space in various nearby residential streets. As constructive suggestions to improve the visiting experience, the positioning of the TV screen so high up on the wall made it awkward to view comfortably; additionally we felt that the sofa design and size was perhaps not entrely suitable for the room layout; nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable holiday and hope to return. Carole
A fabulous comfortable cottage with lots of homely and thoughtful touches. Chantal was very friendly and seemed to really care about her guests. Great position and value, don't look any further, just book this one! We would love to visit again.
Good location, well equipped, clean and good value.
The house is an easy short walk from Cowes centre, excellent accommodation in good order. Friendly host. Thanks, it made our regatra even more successful.
Just returned from a super four night stay in Jubilee Cottage. The house was very clean, comfortable & well furnished. More than spacious enough for our family of 6. The central location in Cowes is great with a 3 minute walk down the road & on to the main high street. There are plenty of great places to eat & shop locally. No parking at the property as the street is in a zone restricted to residents only but always managed to find a space nearby. Communication with Chantal the owner was excellent & the property was exactly as described. Would fully recommend a stay & hope to return ourselves!
Delightful Victorian Cottage - surprisingly spacious and good position
Jubilee Cottage is situated within walking distance from the quaint town of Cowes and the harbour. The cottage is a home from home with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable, and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. We had some questions prior to our stay and Chantal was extremely helpful in answering them. The beds in the cottage are comfortable and the bathroom facilities very good. There is a good outside space with a barbeque and plenty of chairs. There are plenty of good quality restaurants within walking distance and a choice of stores to buy local produce (you must try Isle of Wight cheese) as well as a Sainsbury's and M&S Simply food. The foot ferry to Southampton is also easily accessible. Osbourne House is always worth a visit in keeping with the Victorian theme! The Isle of Wight is a perfect holiday destination with plenty to do all year round for ALL ages. In practical terms, I would be cautious about staying with toddlers or with anyone who finds stairs difficult, but this is clear in the owners description. We were there on a study break (!) and needed Wi-Fi which was very good. I would absolutely chose to stay in this cottage again and highly recommend. Enjoy your holiday!

Amazing cottage..lovely home from home close walk to high street mins!
This is a great little house. It has been very well refurbished and is both stylish and comfortable. The location is excellent, with everything you need within easy walking distance.
The sunny garden is a great bonus and If you happen to there in late September or early October you will benefit from delicious apples and pears!
The house is very well equipped, though a colander and an air tight container for biscuits would help in the kitchen. Also, the stairs are very steep and might be difficult for the infirm.
Finding a parking space in the area can be a bit of a game, but there is nothing that can be done about that.
All in all, highly recommended
