The hotel was great and the staff very helpful. The only issue was that I wasn`t told about a 10 pound parking fee until I was checking out in the morning, i think i should have been told when checking in.

The Place to Stay Near Gatwick Airport

Pros: This is one of the best Holiday Inns that I have ever stayed at.
Cons: Alert guests arriving at the airport that there are several Holiday Inns in the area. Finding transportation to the hotel was confusing.
Location: We took a cab to the closest city, had lunch at a pub, took a stroll around town and peaked into a very old church.
We stayed two nights before our flight back to the states. The Holiday Inn at Gatwick Worth (there are several Holiday Inns near the airport) was a welcome change after staying in European size hotels for five weeks. The bathroom was large compared to European size baths. The Inn is in the country with lots of forests all around. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had two dinners at the Inn. Both were very good and reasonably priced. My only recommendation: Offer free bus to and from the airport.
