Cozy Ranch with Hot Tub near Bus Route in CB South

Come experience a bit of peace and tranquility in Crested Butte South! We are conveniently located and only steps away from the free mountain shuttle. This cozy modern ranch offers access to parks, nordic skiing, ice skating, mountain biking, hiking, and is a great way to explore Crested Butte and the surrounding areas. Relax after a day of exploring in the hot tub or in front of the fire. Summer or winter this cozy home is a great place to stay!

The space
This is a new Airbnb and is a 2 bedroom plus den/office (~ 1300 sqft) single level home in Crested Butte South. Crested Butte South is a small community 10 minutes from the town of Crested Butte and about 15 minutes from Mt. Crested Butte. We are just off Cement Creek Road which offers access to fishing, hiking, biking, and dirt biking trails. The house is about 20 min from Almont which is also famous for its fishing. Gunnison, which is 30 min away, is home to Western State University and has some of our favorite mountain biking i.e. check out Hartman Rocks if you get the chance.

The house was built in 2016, is a single level and situated on a flat lot. There are absolutely no stairs to climb. You will absolutely fall in love with the beauty of the yard and the surrounding area any season you decide to stay. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the back yard or front deck. After a day of hiking or biking, enjoy drinks and appetizes in the backyard while taking in the views and warm sun. Don’t forget, there is also a hot tub to soak in summer or winter!

Bedrooms:
There are officially 2 bedrooms with a king bed in the primary bedroom and a queen in the second bedroom. The office/den is quite large and is outfitted with a bunk bed, desk, and dresser. We know how important a good night’s sleep is, so all bedrooms are outfitted with top notch mattresses i.e., Helix Midnight Luxe King and Helix Hospitality in the queen and lower bunk. There are plenty of extra sets of sheets and pillows if needed.

Bathrooms:
There are 2 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a full bath en suite, which also contains a large soaking tub. The second bathroom is connected to the second bedroom and can be also accessed from the hallway. Each bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and hand soap. Towels, wash clothes, make up towels are also available.

Living Room:
The living room is super cozy, and you will absolutely love cuddling up on the couch or recliner by the warm fire. The fireplace is a high efficiency unit and puts out a lot of heat. Please follow the instruction provided. They are very specific.

The TV is a smart TV. You can access most apps, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, etc. This TV does also have casting (Chromcast) capabilities. You are welcome to log into any of your own applications on the TV, as we do not provide access.

Kitchen:
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and/or bake. In the pantry, you will find plenty of room to store your food, along with a crock pot, blender, full array of spices, along with foil, plastic wrap and plastic bags.

Washer/Dryer:
A full washer and dryer are available and ready to use.

Garage:
There is a heated one garage with plenty of storage for all your toys, skis bikes, etc. Garage access is managed via My Q app. We will provide you an invite upon check in.

Pets:
We do allow up to two dogs; however, we would really appreciate if you are respectful of all the rules. We’d love to be able to keep guests coming back with their fur babies while keeping the yard and house in tip top shape. Any damage created by your pet will be your responsibility. We do collect an additional deposit for dogs that decide to join you. We would also appreciate if you do not let your dog’s poop and pee in the yard. There is a park across the street is very easy to access. The yard is not fenced so please keep an eye on your pets.

Yard:
The yard is one of the main reasons we fell in love with this house, as you can probably tell from the pictures. Please enjoy it to its fullest capacity. The hot tub is open to use. Please follow the instructions and rules provides.

Security:
This house is equipped with 4 security cameras. One in the garage, and three on the exterior of the house. The exterior cameras are to check on the yard and snow level. The garage camera is to ensure the garage door isn’t left open too long. We do not watch the cameras unless we are alerted to some sort of problem.

Front door access is managed via the August Smart lock system, which allows for self check in.

Other things to note:
The primary renter must be 25 years or older.

Wifi is free and super fast! We will provide network and password information upon checking in.

Cell service is very spotty. The park across the street does also provide free WiFi.

Minimum 2- night stay unless otherwise noted. Please feel free to message me if you have a question or would like to discuss a different duration.

Thursday is trash day. We ask that you place the can at the road around 8am. The can cannot be placed outside overnight as it will attract wildlife. If you are not able to or uncomfortable, let me know and the housekeeper will stop by in the morning to open the garage and place the can at the road. Later that day, she will return the can to the garage.

Snow removal. If it snows greater than 4 inches, CB South Metro District will be onsite the remove snow from the driveway. Grounds maintenance will take care of other shoveling as needed. There is also a shovel in the garage if you need access more immediately. They have a lot of ground to cover, so it may take them a little bit to get to the house.

Guest access
Guests will have access to all parts of the house and garage except the shed.
