The Restoration /Luxury Historical Home Only One Block Off Elk Ave

This home couldn`t be more jaw-dropping! Originally a 19th century miners cabin, this home has gone through a transformation like no other. With 3 floors of luxury, the details are overwhelming. From the state of the art gourmet kitchen to the incredible use of reclaimed timbers in the home, to the cozy and sumptuous bedrooms. This property is the perfect place to spend time in Crested Butte.

Upon entering the home you will feel a sense of warmth and comfort. The furnishings are of the finest quality and you will spend many hours just enjoying the company of family and friends around the gas fireplace. The main level of the home is anchored by the custom spiral staircase which runs through the middle of the entire home and is a work of art in itself! The open feel of the floor plan lends itself to entertaining and the gourmet kitchen with Wolf range and Sub-Zero refrigerator can handle the biggest of family meals or the occasional midnight snack! Be sure to take a look at the kitchen island with the one of a kind liquid metal top.Off the kitchen is a heated garage  for your vehicle or all the many toys a person needs in Crested Butte!

Upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and king beds. In both rooms the skylights are positioned so that you can lay in bed and look at a perfectly framed Mt. Crested Butte! Between bedrooms are 2 full bathrooms, one of them, with a fantastic steam shower! On the lower level of the home, you will find two large bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each. Both have en-suite baths, one with a tub and shower and the other with a steam shower. The laundry room with oversized washer and dryer is off the hallway.

During the summer months, the large outdoor patio becomes a living space all its own. The outdoor gardens are breathtaking and framed by hand cut slab flagstone. 

This property can be joined with "Margeaux`s Cottage" for larger parties!

This home was more than we imagined from the photos. I have never had a vacation rental so thought out on everything you could need or want for your stay. We had 8 adults and an infant and everyone felt like they could go off to their own space when needed and gather on the main floor, porch and different sitting areas. The kitchen was so well stocked (even baby spoons and bottle drying rack). The details of decor and feel of the home was so special. We truly felt like we were on vacation. We love being in town and this was a 2-3 minute walk to any restaurant or shop. We love CB and hope to stay here when we can. 100 percent would recommend. Cleanliness: A - immaculate, Beyond words. Beds and linens - incredibly comfy. None of us wanted to leave and loved our stay in this home. 100.

Crested Butte Spring Break trip

I have been to Crested Butte many times over the last 40 years and stayed at many places. The Restoration was the best accommodations ever. The location right at downtown made walking convenient for all our shopping, dining, and grocery needs. The home has a first class kitchen, steam showers in 2 of the baths and all the utensils, pots, pans, and counter space to make meal preparation easy. We found the home to be quiet, and with sleeping areas on upper and lower floors, allowed for plenty of room for everyone. We highly recommend, we plan on staying again.

Relaxation at it’s Best

Beautiful historical home with plenty of space to gather and plenty of places to hideaway. All of the bedrooms are equally stunning and have their own bathroom. And, the house is quiet. People can get up at different times and don’t have to worry about waking anyone up. And, the best is its location to town. Can’t imagine there is a better place to stay.

Wonderful family vacation!

This house was perfect! Our whole family, which now consists of four adult couples and two babies, had plenty of room. Everyone had their own roomy, comfortable space and a bathroom. The gathering area on the mail floor was also spacious and had great views from every window. The kitchen is well stocked. This was our first stay in town - not on the mountain and we loved being close to so many restaurants and shops. We don't rent a vehicle when we come so access to everything by bus or walking was perfect. We will stay here again!

Perfect home in town for a large group

Our party of 5 couples stayed in the home in February 2024 and had an excellent stay. We had plenty of space for everyone and the accommodations were top notch! The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. And the location in town was close to everything. We were one block from the bus stop to get to the ski hill. The steam showers were a plus at the end of day of skiing.

Together - and yet somehow separate

When your traveling with friends and family, you don’t all go to bed and get up at the same time. The unique floor plan of this house allows people to gather and to sleep. And most homes have one great Master Suite with “all other” bedrooms being tier 2. This place offers great sleeping choices and privacy for up to 4 couples. Bring a few friends, split the cost, and this place is a great deal. It’s in town, so it’s close to all the great restaurants and town activities, but air’s at the edge so it’s quiet. And the Lower Loop and other local hikes are right outside the front door. Clearly our favorite place in CB.

Great Rental in Crested Butte

I rented this house to enjoy several days of mountain biking in the Crested Butte area with a couple of friends. We were all impressed with the historic character of the house which was fitting for the Crested Butte area. The house was located in a great location allowing for quick access to all the shops and restaurants on Elk Ave. I would definitely rent this property again.

Updated cozy cabin- perfect for a restful renewal week!

The location is ideal! Its in town and close and to everything you need, and at the edge of town so it’s quiet and has a view of the butte. The patio is a perfect place to soak up the fresh air and enjoy some mountain flowers.

Great house and location

This was a great house for two families on a weekend ski trip. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our crew of 4 adults and three kids between 8 and 12 years old. The two steam showers were amazing and a much used treat after each day on the mountain. The well stocked kitchen was great for cooking up meals and had much of what we needed but the pots and pans could probably use a refresh soon. They even have an outdoor gas and charcoal grills although they are off the basement area so it got pretty smoky in the house even with that door closed so we had to be careful. The downstairs family room was perfectly located so the kids had their own area to play games and hangout. The main floor was great for the adults to sit around the gas fireplace and play games. The heated garage was a welcome surprise to keep all our ski gear instead of a mud room-worked good but would be amazing with a bigger bench and some extra hooks! We had a couple of hiccups with the security system but the management company resolved the issues after a few tries. The only real complaint was the WiFi strength that they might want to investigate-we didn’t bother letting the management company know since we were busy skiing all day but I am sure they can resolve that issue.
