Overall a very nice spot. Quiet neighborhood , very clean and well kept, kitchen stocked with basics like spices, flour, sugar, etc. Would have been nice to have directions on how to adjust the thermostat as it was set to drop to 60 degrees at night. And unscented/hypoallergenic detergent/fabric softener would be preferable as all the towels smelled like perfume and caused a skin reaction.

Generally good. A few issues:Heat kept getting turned way down on its own and had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it back up. Grill ran out of propane and there was no spare tank. The only place to hang up clothing was in the 2nd bedroom. Ended up hanging coats and clothes up on the door knobs. There was no washer or dryer.

For me, this house is ideally located away from busy roads. The neighborhood was super quiet, and the view is stunning. I enjoyed being able to stargaze without the noise of light pollution. Really enjoyed our stay.

Home was sparkling clean, had very comfortable beds and a very well equipped kitchen with a wide array of spices for cooking. The views of the night sky from both the front and back of the house were spectacular! The host was very accommodating to our needs and was very prompt with her responses. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Overall a great place to stay for this area. The house is like new inside and easy to get too. Kitchen is fully outfitted in my opinion. Two bathrooms that are great. No issues with anything and very clean. Nice nearby town with a few places to eat that had great food.

This property was just about perfect. Lots of light and spectacular mountain views. We had one minor issue and host was instantly responsive and problem was quickly solved. Property was close to town and was clean and modern. We did not cook any meals but easily could have. Kitchen was well well equipped. Highly recommend this property and this host.

Road trip with my sister and this place was perfect for us! Kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking utensil you might need plus more! We enjoyed using the outdoor grill with the beautiful views and sunset skies! Dunes and Zapata Falls near by and worth it! Would love to come again!

Clean, quiet, updated, and close to town

We had a beautiful stay. This property had absolutely everything we could have wanted for a quiet getaway. From the brand new construction to the small details like quality fans in every room, it felt so welcoming and relaxing. The two bedrooms are also on opposite ends of the house, so there is plenty of space not to hear someone, even if they are the loudest snorer! I loved the seating in the back with a spectacular view, though I would definitely suggest NOT using the little fire pit! It really should not be there- the whole valley is a tinderbox and often has a total fire ban. I hope the owners consider removing that for everyone's safety. I also loved how close it was to the Ashram. I will definitely be staying here the next time I need a retreat.

Amazing views as you approach the house. Easy locks to use for entry. How was clean and had a bunch of utensils. Rooms and bathrooms were super nice. Recommendations are for the north facing room to get blackout curtains. That sun is fierce early.

Perfect!

Perfect home base for visiting Great Sand Dunes. Super comfortable and everything you need is provided. Was able to cook dinner and breakfast easily. We also enjoyed the backyard space and the views are gorgeous. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing honeymoon

My wife and I had our honeymoon here and it was phenomenal, the host went above and beyond making it special for us. Everything was super simple with check in and out and the cabin was beautiful. By far some of the best views we've had from any rental.
