Only booked this hotel because of the reviews. What a mistake!! Assigned room was filthy. Roaches, beetles. Stained sheets, nasty pillows, dirty mattresses. We asked for a different room and second room was better but one of the mattress cover was nasty dirty. Only used one bed for 4 hours and couldn’t sleep. My husband drove for 10 hours that day and didn’t want to look for another hotel. Next morning floors were wet with no reason horrible!. Avoid this hotel.

Room had a musty smell to it. It looked like the main room was recently redone. However, the toilet and shower area was not in good shape. Several knicks in the tub, the drain plug was broken and lying off to the side. The rest was decent enough. It was nice that there was a Dennys right next door.

As soon as we walked into our room we noticed the floor was wet and we had to get towels to dry them so we wouldn’t slip and fall. At 2 the next morning the floor was wet again. I had started to wheeze and we suspected mold as I am extremely allergic. The hotel happily refunded the rest of our stay and we went somewhere else.

The facility and staff were awesome. Dan and Marie, both of whom work at the hotel, really helped make the stay so very comfortable as they were able to tell us about stuff on the property and surrounding areas.

The Days Inn of Crystal River was the most affordable option and had clean rooms, helpful staff, and a 24 hour Dennys Restaurant next door. Pool was nice too.

Standard Stay

The room was clean, and just what we needed for a night's sleep. The fridge did not seem to be cold enough to trust our food in it, and the water in the bathtub tended to back up while showering. The staff was all friendly and helpful.

Good for a two night stay

The service was awesome and the dennys was super convenient. The room was clean. The bathroom drains in the shower need to be either replaced or deep cleaned. The room had a lot of humidity to where it affected papers on the table. Everything else was clean and comfortable. I would stay again just on a different room. My other half, our pup and I will be back if we come through the area.
