The side entrance door card reader was not working so they just left it unlocked for anyone to come in. There were people partying in the hallway late into the night. The vending machine on the first floor ate my money because it was obviously not working. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming.

I was traveling from Tennessee to the coast and thought I would stop somewhere before Birmingham. This place had some good reviews and pictures so I gave it a shot. It was even better than I expected. It isn’t right beside the interstate, but still really close. Super clean, nice desk clerk, and enjoyed coffee and breakfast.

My husband and I were in town for a wedding. We got to the hotel, put our things down, got ready and left for the evening. We got back to our room around 11pm and almost immediately started getting bit by red ants. We discovered there were thousands all over the floor coming from under the sofa. We changed to a room down the hall and went to bed. In the morning we grabbed our things and left. Now that we are home and unpacking we discovered there were ants all over our luggage and clothes inside of it. We have both been bit over and over just trying to unpack our things.

Breakfast was a joke, nothing much good. Tv had issues with finding channels to watch anything. General interior showed many signs of a deteriorating condition, building has seen better times years ago.

The cleanliness of the room was lacking. The bedspread was dirty and stained. There was hair all over in the bathroom; shower, floor, sink area. Even the hallway had a musty odor. My wife is very particular, and she was ready to call the front desk and ask for new sheets because she wasn't convinced the sheets had been changed from the previous occupants.

Bathroom was not clean. Sink water pressure was very poor didn’t even have enough pressure to clean my razor had to use the bathtub water which had very good pressure. Tub had mold in the corners, shower head was dirty and also had some mold. Didn’t have any trash cans in the desk area like other hotels. TV was very confusing to operate. Bed converter on one bed was torn on the back side. Sheets looked like they were five years old and dingy. Carpet was dirty Oh! I saw a bug in the bathroom, if you seen one there are probably others.

The owner of the hotel is a rude and unpolite person.This hotel has continuously gone downhill over time. The last time I was in town this hotel was decent. This, the breakfast was horrible.The room was dirty.Things were broken all over the place. I'm very disappointed in my experience and will never stay here again
