Perfect place to escape from the city yet close to town, with trees well shaded area. Enjoy your morning coffee outside sitting on a deck watching the sunrise. Also enjoy your evenings looking a the night sky perfect for stargazing! Tucked away in a tranquil nestled in a country environment, this tranquil retreat is merely a 10-minute drive from the bustling Downtown McKinney. Be aware that the property is accessed via a steep slope, which adds to its seclusion and charm.
Quiet place in the country with a great backyard, cool poker room in the cabin, hot tub, fire pit, some yard games, and a grill. 3 nice bedrooms, kitchen, and living room are all very comfortable. Nice patio for coffee or eating with lots of seating in the front as well. Also, close to 3 wedding venues.

The photos of this listing were slightly misleading. We were looking forward to using the hot tub while staying at this “charming” country retreat, however the hot tub was not operational; mind you there weren’t any instructions to double check the hot tub prior to use or for how to troubleshoot in the event that it is not. There were cobwebs in the corner of several of the rooms and it didn’t have a fire extinguisher or any pans to cook with other than teflon. The beds were comfortable, and the town of McKinney was the charming aspect of this visit, and the host was responsive.

Family get together.

We arranged for our stay last minute because we were canceled out of our original reservation due to sewer issues. We were welcomed in and provided everything we might need. The accommodations were as advertised. We would stay there again.

Lovely property, great host

We had such a nice time at this property. The house is nicely decorated. The furniture is all very comfortable, especially the king size bed. The area is very peaceful and quiet. It feels like you are at a remote retreat in the middle of nowhere, but DoorDash can still deliver to the house! The host really goes above and beyond to welcome guests. We were in McKinney on business and didn't get to stay long, but everything was so nice, we already want to come back when we can stay longer!

Nice Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property and enjoyed many aspects of our stay! The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, and the open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and living room area made it easy for our family to spend time together. The hot tub was a big hit and added to the relaxing vibe of the trip. The secluded, private location was ideal for our getaway, offering peace and quiet surrounded by nature.

Cozy Cabin Stay

The property is a precious, cozy little cabin. It looked just like the pictures. The asethetic is simple and clean. It has an isolated feel and view without being far from town. The house was clean, along with bathroom and kitchen amenities provided. Communicatiom was fast and easy. I recieved a text the morning of the reservation with the code and other information. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We would stay again.

The location of the property doesn't mention that you drive down a STEEP incline to the property. We took our dogs with us, went for a walk, and a neighborhood dog attacked ours. We're lucky that the dog attacked our dog and not us or our son. The "Game Cabin" was locked and we weren't able to access it. The shower in the Master Bedroom is cold so we had to use 1 shower for all guests which was an inconvenience.
