The staff was friendly, easy check- in, good location. The breakfast area and lobby was nice. But our room was pretty small and we had two queen size beds, and it had a weird smell.

Everything we put in the refrigerator froze solid. The top of the soda can swollen. Lucky it didn't explode. Had to run water about 5 minutes or more to get hot water. Gave up and washed my face in cold water the first night. The next night I left it running and read for a few minutes to wait for it to get hot and finally it did. Bed was comfortable and we weren't bothered by noisy guests.

Water was not hot, so it was a cold shower or no shower. I opted for no shower. Told front desk attendant about it on checkout. She responded with a half-hearted "Sorry 'bout that" and made no effort to remedy the situation or offer any sort of compensation for our inconvenience. Also, she told us our stay would automatically be added to our rewards account, but it was not.

We did not enjoy our stay at this location. Unpleasant smell in bathroom. Shower floor didn't appear clean. Noisy tenants directly across the hall from us. Didn't stay for breakfast. Totally different experience from what we had when we stayed at the LaQuinta in DeSoto.
